Why rockets, medigel, thermal clips, and ops packs should be removed from ME4 MP... If we get one.

 1. Rocketting spawns and stuffs is just stupid. 

2. No moar rocket glitching.

3. It would allow for the creation of more characters purely focused on support without removing a large part of the difficulty from the game.

4. Heavy weapons with a special ammo are a better idea than the easy mode rockets.

I have a feeling they are going to implement things differently next time.

Or, maybe it was so successful they won't care.

I think the medi-gel and ops packs should stay... Otherwise, you would be at the mercy of your team mates which is never a good situation in my opinion. Never really used thermal clips but the rockets need to be redesigned slightly... Perhaps not a "I hit the button and win" stick but maybe something a little more creative. Perhaps....

Agree on rockets, I think Medi-gel cap should have stayed at 2. Nothing wrong with Thermals IMO

Wouldn't the heavy weapons become either a burden or crutch? If not, how do you introduce them? Extra equipment with no weight penalties? Limited ammunition? Cooldown timer between shots?

So many questions for such a proposal.

dumbest thread I ever read not sure if trolling Oo...
No medigels to revive means counting on randoms to pick you up....This whole thread supports a hold hands in firebase rio type of gameplay where everybody is right next to eachother in a box of shame to pick each other up.

Dont hate on players who rockets spawns and attack spawns instead of holding your hand OP.

Well, we already have extra equipement without a weight penalty in the form of the Cobra launcher that everyone goes into battle with. I'd see it as a weapon (or group of weaopns) whose ammo can't be refilled during the match (much like the current Cobra) and the number of shots available would be related to how powerful the weapon is (much like in ME2).

The current Cobra is like a mini-Cain in that it instakills everything, but with a smaller radius than the ME2 incarnation. It'd be hard to introduce something that would be more of a 'crutch' than the current Cobra.

Wow. I bet I'm twice as good as you.  You didn't even stop to think about how it actually would make the game better. Thanks for the well thought out reply.

FYI. It's not because I suck that I think they shouldn't stay. It's because rockets make this game painfully easy.

I wouldn't be against reducing the amount of consumables we can carry into a game. Removing them altogether though? No thanks.

This is another reason why I think that all gear should be turned into permanent unlockables because PUGs don't use equipment either. They'll hoard it until the game has no players left.

Only concern I would have re no medi-gel is that it counters the stomp kill. Remove that and I could live with out the consumables.

Alternatively, make a mode where you cannot use said items and just keep them in the game for people who aren't super hardcore ME3 MP fans who know every spawn, what enemy types spawn on which wave and when the best time is to spawn nuke. Medi-gel is a super useful item that probably kept more than a few people playing, since God knows how frustrating it is when you can't get back up after a teammate doesn't revive you.

The only consumable I want removed are ammo types. The SP's ammo powers should have been translated right into MP as optional powers selected from a list and set for each kit/build a la the bonus power list for Shepard.

You're gonna miss those missiles once your back is to the wall while your random teammates are dead in wave 3. (assuming there is waves, but my point is still legit)

The game would have to be completed redesigned around it. I doubt BioWare will change ME4 that much.

Also remove powers and every gun except 4. And let us dual wield
