Never could understand all the fuss about him. He looks cool. His occupation is cool. But his character doesnt interest me.

Though, I would've probably sacrificed Mordin 2 yrs ago, he grew on me in ME3. "Getting old, Shepard...."

I would have to disagree on that point there. If the suffering is great, many (albeit not all) individuals ask to be taken off life support. This happened in the game too, with that Batarian Terrorist you meet in the Refugee area in the Citadel.
