Platnium Gameplay. Kicking is lame and has plat always been slow paced?

Yeah I can do Gold, with a Vorcha soldier with Armor piercing rounds II and a N7 crusader I
I just prefer not to untill I get my equipment up and consumables maxed, It's annoying trying to play gold and having only 2 medigels.
I would never go into Plat like this.
You would just be a drag on the team even if you're trying.

I would gladly take someone like this into Plat just so I could help him get whatever it is he needs for his manifest.

If you are so sure of this "workarounds" you have been spouting about, host a platinum lobby and please demonstrate this DPS/anti-armor workaround and I will be the very first to concede to your point. However as it stands right now, its all just hot air.

Oh you guys! Stop it.
But now I feel like I'm cheating because I did used to play on Xbox.
And I used to play gold all the time, but that is the reason I dont play gold in PUG's on the PC.
Plus for OP:
My Xbox Manifest
It's not even a good manifest, but yet I play gold on that one, but only with a group of people, maybe 1 random if we are missing someone.

SP insanity = silver difficulty in most cases.
sp insanity is mooore easier then gold pug, atleast for me (mainly silver player atm, played sp insa as engi, sent and adept and with common/rare weapons)
and btw, dear OP, I allways feel guilty if i go "unprepared" to gold even with my friends (not full med-gel/rockets, forgot gears/comsumables or going with char lower then 20), having so low capacity is unnaceptable even for gold
+ didn't you wrote somewhere about doing insa sp xtimes ? i don't see your achievement for that ...
little off topic
that made me laugh hardl7986 wrote...
Also I'd like issue an apology from the PS3

I agree with the N7 ≠ Skill but anyone under N7 120 is getting a kick in a gold lobby for me.
If you're under N7 120 then that means you have not played every class and also means that you're relativley new to the game which then means you're most likely not very good. So OP for the last time stop crying about 'this person isn't good enough because he can't carry 3 horrible players in plat'
Please for the good of everyone, including yourself go back to silver until you get better at this game.
Would a N7 Level 60 with atleast 6 runs through each sp campaign of both me2 and me3 count towards relatively new to the game? Oh the N7 indication doesn't have that does it? Stop relying on this system.
SP is easymode even on insanity. You won't make any points here tossing that around.

Platinum is harsh... if you can't generate DPS, you don't belong. If you don't have AP ammo or an AP mod on your gun... you're worthless in Plat (unless of course, it's one of the weapons that ignore armor DR, and none of those weapons are really great on Plat anyway).
This is unfortunately a symptom of Bioware's ******-poor game balancing, which has placed undue emphasis on weapon damage and has put power-based classes in the gutter on plat. If there was more consistency in single-target damage output across classes you wouldn't see plat lobbies filled with GIs/TGIs/Destroyers, meaning having a high-level weapon (which is subject to the RNG of packs) wouldn't be a big deal.
Given that Platinum is SUPPOSED to be for some small percentage of the players that can hack it, and the (likely) small percentage of players who play it, why should the game be balanced around it? Makes no sense.

The balance issues are present at every difficulty, they're just more amplified at the platinum level. The ME series has always been about powers moreso than weapons, but BW seems determined to turn ME3 MP into a cheap knockoff of Battlefield or CoD.

Whenever I get around to doing more of that playthrough I'm going to record and upload the "tough" fights (already did Grissom Academy). Plenty of Gold and Plat gameplay already up there to compared with, and I'm a pretty average scrubby player of MP.

I had to carry some random N7-124 Demolisher earlier on Plat, he scored 18k lol :/
You should be able to pull 200-300k on Plat as a Fury if you play aggressively(except maybe Collectors with their low score).
While there are skilled players with low N7 and Gear, Plat is for credits and Consumables/Gear are used to speed up the run. If you're not going to use them on Platinum instead saving them for lower difficulties then you should stop wasting the time of others. PuGs don't know your skill level and aren't going to take the chance when they could have just plowed a Gold instead.

Please can some respected BSN-er get to lobby with him and test his skills? I'm very interested in results...
I thought about doing this, but decided against it. Playing with high tier players is the worst way to judge skill. All the mistakes that would normally get you killed are mostly mitigated by team mates that know how to handle every situation. Last thing I want to do is take this guy into a lobby with the PS3 Alliance Hazard Force and give him an ego boost with an easy plat run.

3 games on plat and he's an expert. amazing.
It reminds me some random guy whom I told shredder mod was useless in his GPS. He wasn't convinced, since, in his own words, he had tried it the game before and killed some Guardians. Most people appreciate this kind of "key" input (that the game should provide somehow), but for those who don't... I guess it's just their lost
