Would you guy's like a mass effect movie or a mass effect TV series? A movie has it's ups and it's downs. for instance Cinema screen, surround sound and picture resolusion are perfect. The down fall is that you can only put a 3 hour time fram on a movei meaning you will have to cut out alot of parts to make the movie be 3 hours or shorter. Now for a TV series: you can elaberate on the story more and flush out the characters back ground story and I find that the viewers get more attached to characters this way. Down fall of a TV Series: if you have a small TV it will suck to watch the show. If your picture resolusion sucks then you will not get the full experience and the list can go on and on.

Well with a movie, why not make 2 (or even 3) ? Like they're doing with the Hobbit.
And with a TV series iunno, it means I have to wait every week to see the next bit.
I find that very frustrating. But it does allow further character development as you said.
I'd still go with both at the same time broacasted directly into my brain

There is potential, provided they stay away from Shepard and keep to events outside the trilogy.
Have it feature squadmates or something.

TV series, about something completely unrelated to Shepard, and written by Joss Whedon.

TV Series. More time to expand on the plot and characters, and they can also cover any number of things that aren't related to the main plot. The only advantage a movie would have is the budget, IMO.
