The people throwing around the word "stalker" have never had to deal with a stalker. Stop using that word.

Other than that, if you want your manifest private, that is fine with me.

Oh sorry, I'm going to change my ways because some guy told me to. There are a lot of words that people use all the time and use incorrectly that completely ruin any meaning the word has. The word depressed for example, people use it interchangeably with sad, and that's not what the word means. Yet I have the presence of mind not to even bother trying to tell people because I know that it won't matter.

LOL stalkers, yes, they are creepy and scary, if actually a stalker.

Eh, meh, I don't care if anyone looks at my manifest. It helps that I don't run around talking smack about how elite I am nor do I make crazy claims about my performance in game, nor do I give a flying pig about what people think of my manifest lol.

It get it, you have zero respect for people who have had to deal with stalking. Continue to act that way. It only makes you look bad.

And could cause you major legal problems if you say it to the wrong person.

Seriously? Why would you make it private? Unless you are cheating and have 800m credits, or hiding your playing time from our wife:D For example number 1 on both leaderbords in my country has 800m credits and 56k CP, while the only challenge he completed more than once is biotic mastery. If his profile was private I wouldn't be able to report him. It's private after I wrote a massage to him. He said that if you use saving approach you can collect 800m, funny guy:D Anyway I wonder how many others, who have closed manifests cheated. Cheaters get reported if they are dumb enough to hack hundreds of credits or use ingame glitches.
Does anyone got banned without reporting? For example if one hack 10m credits or less, noone will ever know.

When u pay for my game, internet, my computer, electricity bill then i will listen to u.
Untill then go play your own friggin game

Anyway, I agree with OP all manifests should be a matter of public record. There is no personal information on it and having it open helps in the detection of cheating and information sharing. That said, it's not a big deal that people can make their manifests private.

I have. did you know once you invite them in, they never leave. On the upside, they are the most loyal pets.

Way to put words into my mouth. My point is that you're upset about the overuse of a word, get over it. There are plenty of actual problems to deal with, like actual stalkers for instance, and people realize the difference between what an actual stalker is and when people are making an exaggeration. I get it, you help people who've been stalked/ been stalked yourself but that honestly you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

Also go ahead and report me to the cyber police, after all if you do then consequences will never be the same. But remember how you were berating Kira in that other thread? That could be considered cyber bullying and you could get in trouble if you do it to the wrong people so you'd better be careful.

I have nothing to worry about, since I don't cyber bully people. Maybe in your world saying somebodys poetry sucks is considered cyber bullying, but not in the read world.

And why would I report you? My real name is not on this site and you did not call me a stalker. Try to make some sense next time. Thanks.

That's actually a valid point. Haven't thought of that myself. No sarcasm.
EDIT: Remembered how some kid was talkiing how he destroys platinum and sh*t. Checked on his manifest, he didn't even extract on gold once:D not mentioning platinum.

This thread has been twisted and bent with rants and anger. Privacy is an individual's right. Agreed. But OP here has done nothing wrong. He has reported the player of a suspicious manifest. The ball is Bioware's court. There is no stalker here. So keep your pitchforks back in the barn.
All OP is doing is trying to get some opinion on a question he has. If the answers are going to be from people who act like pre pubes then they need to grow up. THIS IS A GAME. So relax. Thank you op for reporting that guy. Let Bioware sort it out. Don't get hung up on all this weird paranoia type replies you are getting here.

^ you should note that the people disagreeing with OP have public manifests.
i dont give a crap if anyone looks at mine or not, but i respect the option to make it private if you choose, especially to keep the intentions of the OP in check.
people cheating that arent in games with you should be of no concern to anyone but bioware.

This.

Like the "Best of the best" guy who was using 6/6/6/6/6 kits (extra skill points glitch), or another who was calling for Harrier nerfs, without having it unlocked.

Im not bothered either way, but open manifests do give an indicator of how valid someone's view point could be.

Agreed. Agreed. Everyone has the option of privacy. That said, the people who have public manifests are not obligated to make it public. They have a choice. Logically, bioware has not really done much if a person has not been banned yet. Why? Probably because that person has done a good job of hacking and playing with similar people to gain top spots. That would mean there is no one to report. True, someone on the top and their manifest is absolutely none of my or your business. But I don't like the fact that while I play in a legit way, someone else can gain by just changing some files in his/her pc.

Bioware has their work cut out for them. The devs are really great. To sift through all the reports and data. Kudos.
Stop lashing out at the op. Nothing is going to change. Let it go.

I understand what you are saying OP but you have to realize that everyone has a reason, maybe some of the people above you in the leader board did cheat so what? are you really that hurt and competitive that you MUST know their manifest to see how long they have been playing? You seriously sound like you have no life and just spend your days checking leader boards every second you get the chance to.

I'm a competitive type, I'm having fun by ranking up in leaderboards. I look at their manifests to see if they are cheating in dumb way, like hacking 600 to 800m credits. I AM NOT considering everyone whio is above me a cheater. I like a competition, so I'm interested in people progressing, that doesn't include cheating.
Actually I have to much of a life, so now I play like 2-3 hours a day in late evening. I push really hard for the time I have and get frustrated that people get much more with no effort at all.

Anyway about the reasons so far.
Dumb:
1) Manifest is hacked, covers hundreds of millions of credits
2) Talking crap on the forum while having a Avenger IV. (starting a new game on a different platforms is a rare occasion)
3) Hiding playing time from friends/moms/wives
Reasonable:
1) Ashamed of using real money to buy packs.

Additions?

Seriously, what's the deal to be ashamed for funding our party? Yes, this may come as a shock to some, but multiplayer is not free. It never was. If it wasn't for people to do microtransaction, there would be no 'free' dlc, no new content, maybe no more support at all.

Are people really that delusional and moronic to believe that multiplayer is free? Just because they didn't pay for it? And point fingers at the people who did? We have to thank those people who do pay on our knees, that's the truth.

honest people are generally open, unless they are ashamed of their performance.

not like any ingame info about manifest or builds can really threaten an individual in the "real world", its just video game stats after all.
