Is deleting your account and then remaking it the only way to change your forum name?

I had my Origin email address changed with EA support...thinking that I would have to create a new account here with my new email address...so that I can finally change my name.

However, the email address change simply changed my account email address over here as well...so I'm stuck with the same account with the same forum name...just with a different email address for log in.

So is waiting the 7 days (or however long) without posting...then deleting your account...then remaking your account with the same email address...the only way to change your forum name here?

I would like to have an answer as well. I changed my Origin-ID and need my forum name to be changed. I contacted EA support and they told me that they can't do it unfortuntely and gave me an email adress to contact Bioware directly. However nothing has happened so far.

I think you have to pm a moderator here to get your name changed. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure. They would at least tell you if it is possible.

I'm in the same boat. I wanted to match this up with my actual tag, but it's been weeks and still no word on if they'll let me.
