 Having created brand new accounts on both xbox and ps3 due to the fact i wanted new gamertag and i'm too miserable to pay MS for the privilege i decided to start replaying my old games again and then the notion hit me.....replay Mass Effect from scratch and so here i am.

Right i raced straight through ME and ME2 and loved it, all the side missions etc and really just had a blast, on completion of ME2 i stopped for a few hrs and with trepidation started ME3, yes i confess i only played ME3 once before on release and while i like the game the ending left me asking WTF was that ? , Ok so i had the extended ending dlc this time and i must confess to enjoying the game this time for the most part, a few more conversation options would have been nice but you can't get everything.

The ending itself i still have doubts about and from having played the games all back to back i still see probs with the ending, TIM could not control the reapers as he was at least partially indoctrinated and i believe for the same reason synergy would not work for him either as his essence already being contaminated would have Reaperised the galaxy instead of setting it on a new path, So yes i get why TIM failed, but from the gameplay and various hints etc on indoctrination and dream scenes Shepard keeps having i strongly get the feeling that Shepard is also infected and while he has not succumbed yet to the Reapers control i don't see how being contaminated he would then be able to do what TIM could not as when he is vapourised depending on what option taken his essence will still contain the Reaper infection. 

I know everyone has their own ideas on what happens etc but this is just mine, a bit disjointed but i wanted to share, In the main Bioware did not deserve the abuse it got but then they could have handled the fallout better as well, Really an alternate ending to give everyone some more  closure would have been nice but in fairness i doubt it will happen as i know if people abused me or my friends like that i would probably just take the sod them approach as well. 

Really i think the whole debacle has damaged all 3 sides in the argument (pro end, anti end and Bioware) about ME3's ending and now is the time for people to just move on and get back to the worlds we all know and love.
Hopefully from now on everyone will come together again and just enjoy the forums and characters we all grew to love and enjoy spending time with.
