I'd love a new ending that made sense but I don't see it happening.

Really it's a question of money...how well did Leviathan and the Omega DLCs do financially? If they did well there's zero chance that Bioware will listen to fans calling for a new ending. Only if Bioware took a serious hit to their bottom line would they consider going back to fix the ending.

You hope for too much.

They said that it won't.

I would love for this to be true but I know it's not going to happen OP, sorry.

They had their chance to fix at least part of the mess they created, they chose not to take it. It's over.

I'm just tossing this out there but has anyone ever noticed how the cutscenes in the EC are all still images and depict sort of an ideallistic scenario? Granted it could be as a method to save development costs but somehow it doesn't seem to fit into the realism of the game itself. I'm not trying to push for Indoc theory but these scenes are sort of like how Shep is dreaming. In the case of destroy, the scenes end when Shep breathes (I may be wrong here since it's been a long time since I've finished the game).

Also, I'm aware that Chris Priestly has claimed that "The Reckoning" DLC is false, but what if it's just coverup? With the idea of Reckoning, it's sort of like payback. So, this could be the alliance getting payback for the Reapers' assault on Earth and killing? Shep.

(1) BioWare already told many times the DLC will not change the ending.
(2) If upcoming DLC will be post-ending or ending-related, then it will only add more details to the ending without changing its concept.

I don't care about changing the ending anymore, I just want a real epilogue and not Fallout-esque picture slides with narration. (Considering I lived in destroy.)

I'd love ending or postending dlc as muc or more than anyone. But believing this will happen is wishful thinking.

What we'll get is going to be just another midgame side mission worth 300-500 War Assets (which won't do anything for us). With luck, we'll get some more lines fro our favorite squadmates. If we're really lucky, we'll get a place we can revisit after the missions are done.

But sorry, the endings stand. You opinion, my opinion, don't matter. Demand doesn't matter. How you want your story to end doesn't matter.

Sad, but true.

You must have some serious insecurity issues.

Anyway, all we can do is hope. HOPE THAT OUR HOPES THAT HOPING WILL BE REWARDED.

I wouldn't count on it though.<_<

Zaeed took a squad of ruthless bastards into a batarian slaver camp to get a new ending DLC, he was the only one to make it out alive, and even HE couldn't find any alternate ending dlc...

They never said that we will never have Prothean squadmate, but they told hundreds of times that ending is set in stone.

So much hate, and negativity in here. Anyway, will it be? Depends on semantics. I don't think the endings which are your choices, and what the effects are, will change, but they could expand on the epilogue. This changes nothing, and "strengthens" the end as it is. Does the DLC need to 100% Pre-Ending, 100% Ending, or 100% Post-Ending? No, it can be mixed. This upcoming DLC could literally be anything as far as we know.

It never ceases to amaze me how a big number of people here like to fool themselves, and of course later when they get disillusioned the blame is always on Bioware for failing in fulfill the expectations:?

Or how EC wouldn't give any new endings?

Wrong, they said that they would never put something as big as a prothean in a dlc.

EC doesn't have any new ending. Refusal is just a fix for eternal wandering around the room in case if player just wants to surrender and get the ultimate mission failure.
