So I finally went through a play with the Dwarf Noble and absolutly loved it. Seeing my epilogue and comparing it to the wiki had me slightly confused though. I was trying to have the best possible ending for the dwarfs in terms of pushing back the darkspawn. Bhelen is on the throne, I preserved the Anvil and requested human military aid. However one thing did not come up in my epiloge and I am unsure why.
Quoted from wiki "If the Dwarf Warden requests military aid from Ferelden and Bhelen is king, the latter would welcome them with open arms. Within months, the darkspawn are driven back as far as the Dead Trenches, and the first dwarven warrior to return with a relic retaken from the gates of Bownammar was greeted by cheering, jubilant crowds."
I was thinking this might have been because I preserved the anvil but I am unsure if that's the case. Could anyone clarify for me?

I'm not sure why you didn't get that either. It should have triggered. The slides regarding the anvil come after that one.

So it's probably safe to say the status of the anvil has nothing to do with it and I just had a bug somewhere?

Oh yeh, I forgot about that bug. It's a major one, and not easily fixed as the file is inaccessible. Terra_Ex, author of Morrigan Restoration Patch Fix Pack, did fix it, and allowed me to use his scripts in ZDF. So if you have a PC, it's fixable, but for console users, it is not.
If Alistair was king, that was the issue. Several of the boons don't get set properly if Alistair is king at the end. Not only the Dwarven one, but the city elf, human, and mage boons don't get set either by him so not only do you not get the proper slides, but it doesn't get imported either. They do work fine if Anora is the one to grant the boon.

Ah ok thank you for letting me know. Sadly I'm restricted to a console at the moment but I was thinking of doing the Loghain redeemer path so it will work out nicely.
