It IS odd how the RNG works. I've been playing the game since it came out, but only unlocked the Javlin three weeks ago while at the same time I've had the Prothean Particle Beam X for months. My Harrier has been stuck at III since about a week after the DLC came out.

My N7 rank is 210 (I believe) and have Harrier X.

N7 rank has nothing to do with weapon unlocks; only how many times one has promoted their characters.

I'm only missing lights off the GI but I still haven't got a SI, drellguard or vanilla Krogan<_<

I had every character (including the ultra rare volus) unlocked and maxed before I got the Krogan Soldier or maxed the Human Male Adept.

I got it about a month ago, still sitting at level 1. Awesome gun, but you basically have to camp next to an ammo box in order to use it.

I'm on the harrier drop rate conspiracy train myself. I got 2 CSMGs before I got my first harrier.
