Our character stands there waving a sword extremely slow...I'm going to fall asleep. And there are NO attacks for a warrior. I should already have at least 3 different attacks with a 2 handed sword.
And when we decapitate someone their head vanishes...what kind of crap is that? Even The Witcher, more than 2 years old, shows their heads fly off and stay on the ground.
Korcari Wilds? You need to rename it Korcari Swamp...it's NOTHING like how its described in the books. Everything is out in the open, there's no way a Dalish Elf can hide. The books, especially the first (The Stolen Throne) describes it as a wild jungle. Not a wetland...
Also, the combat music in the Korcari Wilds is horrible. It worked in DA Journeys
because we're inside Deep Roads and it goes well for that, but not outside in a
wilderness. Perhaps its time you hired a real musician like, let me
see, Jeremy Soule?
Another thing while I'm at it is the beginning for a human noble, it's extremely rushed. There's hardly any time to enjoy that life and grow with the characters there, so by the next 10 minutes when almost everyone is dead you don't really feel any emotion. We couldn't even escape, it just loads and automatically to the next town.
Oh...and why is the father calling us pup? We're not a DOG...we already have a dog on our party. Please redo those ridiculous lines and have him say "SON".
And I'm not sorry to say this but you're extremely lazy not to get voices for the characters. If your excuse is how much space it takes up then all you needed was a 2nd or 3rd disc to put all the voices in. Everyone speaks except for us? It doesn't kill your dialogues, but it takes away from how better it could have been.
Lastly, character creation. What happened to a normal beard? Why is it you only have beards that make humans look like some dwarf. Fine, keep the santa clause beards but I'd like a beard similar to Duncan. A NORMAL BEARD.
I've only started this, I have not even completed the quest for the Joining. And already I am disappointed with the game. You have a lot of work to do.
