Particularly what I'm looking for is what abilites did you pick, what class tree to specialize in, who did you bring and what did you set them to like make Merril a damager or a controller and how did you level up your companions.
I could just tell him what I did during my playthroughs and I will when we start the game. That said, I'm not perfect at this game and if there's an ability or tactic that I don't know about then I would like to know about it.
To help you guys out I'll tell you he's mostly interested in playing as a rogue so finding out which specialization trees to use like duelist, assassin, or shadow will help us the most. I know he's going to bring Varric and Merril more than any other companion so advice on those two will also be helpful.
I'll keep everyone updated on what's all going on and by the time he finishes the game, I'll come back and gather everyone's name and let you know who'se advice we took.
