If you try to keep your level as low as possible until you meet the first few companions .
Morigan and ..ummm bard chick.
Can you have more control over how they develop ?
Do they join you at a default level.
Or can you meet them at a low level and they will have fewer skills auto assigned to them ?
Just curious
If you purposly let others kill everything and keep your level low.......

it's a little hard to be under 5/6 when you meet leli and morrigan...and at that point you can take them in a totally different direction and have them end up just fine....those you get later not so much..but them...there's not reason
and if you're that concerned get the respec mod or the companion-no autolevel mod...unless youre on a console..in which case........sucks to be you

DA Mutator also lets you have companions that aren't auto-levelled as one of its many options.
