I can't view it because I'm at work but I assume you used the same strategy as our three man Giant one. Are you planning to do Dagger and Goddess with rockets and better characters like we did during the tournament?Bechter wrote...
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. No question will be mocked we all started somewhere. In the early days I used the piercing mod on the GPS, AP Ammo on projectile weapons, and many power amplifiers to increase my TC damage hehe. Anything that wasn't made clear in this vid we will try to address in the next ones. We will also try to make a Best Practices guide.
Yep we just put the extra 4th player we didn't have for our 3 man runs at the bottom of the alley by the ammo box where enemies will jump up from.

Nicely done, guys. Glad you got to put your strat to use with a full team. Looking forward to what you guys come up with next.
How many cars did you flip after the Ravens won the super bowl?

Thanks for the video. I've been trying to get my playgroup to do platinum more and I think the video series will help build their confidence to try.

I'm curious about the Drell Infiltrator build as I've never used it and it looked fun.

I was full sniper damage and specced out of homing grenades for the vid just so I don't have to respec ever time I want to snipe. Below is the link to the build I would use for speed runs.

Just one question/request - How about weapon suggestions for those who don't have max URs? I think there are a good amount of people who have everything at max except UR weapons (and promotionals) - I would say there are more of us than people with totally maxed manifests. I've had Harrier I on PC, and Harrier 0 on Xbox since the dawn of time, and my other URs aren't much better for the most part

Claymore and Piranha are great options. You could get away with a sniper on bigger maps like Giant as you can hit stuff on the beam all the way from the bottom position. A weapon that deals with phantoms easily like the acolyte is a good thing to have. GPS or Falcon could work.

I feel like I would do best with a Striker, for the fastest and most consistent/sustaining high damage output, and with pretty fair accuracy at range on a TGI (and damage bonus) - with Acolyte side arm. What do ya think? Also, what would you consider the lowest rank of Harrier that would suffice (for the sake of friends who have the Harrier at various levels)?

I wouldn't mind watching the video with commentary just to hear what it's like on mic as well. I mean now that you've explained everything with the commentary it would also be cool to see how it goes down live. Anyway, thanks for the video, looking forward to the next maps you do.

BTW INVADERONE (lol looks like yelling allcaps) - What other maps are you planning on doing tutorials for... aside from the obvious Glacier... ?
I normally dont like to lay out my future vids as in the past when I have all of a sudden others out of "coincidence" would post a video on it, many times literally the same day as if to outdo what I am trying to do beforehand but I think this area is fine to respond to. The maps I want to work on are White, Goddess, Glacier and Jade for sure.

Can't say I have ever seen anyone use the striker on a speedrun. Give it a try and let us know how it works. Even a level 1 Harrier would be fine, ultimately it is more about whatever weapon you can use to do the most damage in the shortest amount of time. In a run with armored compartments like this you could pretty much go with any decent character/weapon combo and be fine.

Hm, I need to listen to the commentary I guess. only had time to watch it (no audio). I don't understand. The spawns are popping up for you one after the other. I saw your geth just running back and forth between the spots nuking them to oblivion. Then the game hooks you up with another spawn right behind you. Why are you so lucky???? This never happens for me. It appears i need to learn how to nuke spawns better
Yeah you'd need to listen to the commentary. There is no luck involved. The entire strategy is organized and focused on Spawn control.

Why wouldn't you listen to the commentary? That is curious to me.

edit- my teammates didn't lockdown the spawns like you do here is the reason why. not luck, we just missed a spawn spot since we were just casually messing aroudn

To be honest I usually just listen to music while I watch a me3 video. I don't listen to the commentary unless I'm not getting something (like what just happened in this case).
This is kind of like grinding this type of speedrun. Since you're sort of doing the samething over & over. But I'm not hating I don't think we got it down to such a low time (11mins). I think the lowest I've gotten one done is 15-18 mins?
Awesome film. Good touch with using the geth long range vision to show the viewer everything. Top notch vid

@Geek Fest - I will give the Striker TGI a try then, and report back. I do feel like it's the highest/fastest DPS solution for me.
@Palmof40Sorrows - Hey you! Wanna do some speedruns?
@sandboxgod - In addition to effecient damage output, it's certainly primarily about precision spawn control. I've seen spawns go exactly according to plan on these maps, but I've also seen, more often than not, spawns gone awry and appear right on top of/behind me because of erratic player positions.

@ INVADERONE - Thnx for the teasers then. I'd love to see Goddess soon - Godess forgive you get the open center hack (which BTW I would like to see how difficult out-in-the-middle hacks are handled!).

Goddess is an excellent speed running map. All of the spawns are very easy to control and spot. I think you'll be surprised how much easier Goddess is once we get the vid out. I want to review the team's strategy soon so we can work on a good time and I can detail all of the positions and tactics for you all as I did on this one.
