BroJo's a cool dude and I always enjoy reading his posts. Hope he comes back to posting frequently despite some of the dbags around here.
I think Bryan Johnson is a pretty cool guy. He posts on BSN and he doesn't afraid of anything.

I have no idea what this is about, but I'll echo my support. One of the things that keeps me playing is this interaction. It is very cool getting a peek behind the curtain to see the folks pulling the levers. That, and they just seem like good peoples.
Won't go into detail but one of our fellow BSner's was a total D-bag to him and he lost his temper rightfully so, and removed himself from the conversation stating he would be off the boards for a while. Siad D-bag is now banned from BSN for his troubles.

It's not about me, I'm not Oprah(yeah I said it and I meant it) I just thought he could use a little lovin' from BSN. No one should have to put up with what he was subjected to.

You know, after what went down in that thread, it's actually not a bad idea to get the attention of the forum. After all, there was a survey some months back about how to make BSN better, and one of the things that stood out was people wanting MORE dev interaction here.
Then, when one of our most active devs attempted to engage an already vitriolic crowd and explain to them how things work on his end, he was verbally burned at the stake and one former poster even had the audacity to quote him out of context and make it his forum signature.
What occurred there was barbaric and uncalled for. There are a few posters I have greatly lost respect for as well, thanks to that whole debacle. There is civil discourse, and there is barking like a pack of rabid dogs. The latter has no place on a board that is owned by BioWare. It is not a public forum. We are here as their guests. The least we can do is refrain from slapping our hosts when they ask us to kindly stop peeing on their furniture.

It was very vicious. I actually wanted to physically fight someone, I was so angry. White Knight syndrome, yes, but still...

Well, you got my attention, but I still have no idea which thread we're talking about, since I've been working 12-hour shifts in the past two days, and I don't have the energy to browse the BSN recently.

Bryan and many others have been very active in the boards and in the game with many of us, I believe they have thick skni, big sholders and know the vast majority of us really appreciate what they are doing, show me any area of life be it games, cars or whatever that os perfect, it simply doesn`t happen. I believe they have done and are doing an outstanding job.
I remember back in May or June with these balance changes for example, I would get upset, I wouldn`t post it and at the time I thought it was the end of my small world in game but I kept at it and you know what, I found a way not only around the change, but something better, they were right all along, not always but generally with changes they have made.
In closing they have told us if we want them to be active here, to treat them with respect, they probably go through enough crap at work, the last thing they need is to be getting it from the forums, I am reminded of the saying, If you do not have something nice to say, say nothing at all because in game or in life, if you burn a bridge it will come back to haunt you.
Thanks Bioware, I speak for myself and perhaps others, we appreciate your efforts, this forum is your home and we appreciate the oportunity to stay for a while but kick those out that are not respectful, that simple.

Whoah, wait...what did I miss? Can someone, please, give me a reader's digest version? No need to call names, I think I know who is the guy who left.
Just read the Bioware replies, when NPlewes becomes involved, IMHO in a matter like this, it`s not a good sign, you will see a BSN`t has been banned by him, this thread became totally out of hand and uncalled for

That has to be the most convoluted mixed metaphor I think I've ever encountered
Anyhew - I've no idea what this brouha is all about (missed that thread obviously) - but alongside CPP and EgoSoft, I think BioWare do a decent job of community involvement... be a shame if it was scuppered by some "Internet Legend" being a c***.

I probably have quite a few earth years on many here, doesn`t make me smarter but with time comes some wisdom and in that reflections in all areas of life.

Not because I don't think an apology is warranted.
But, because I think the point of this thread should be to serve as a counterbalace, and its focus should be the appreciation for the work and effort we benefit from, and the people who do it.
Bryan Johnson has answered me a couple of times. Once in a thread where I asked about Melee Damage for the Dog of War banner (my first banner, thank you Bryan for getting me on the right path.)
And once in a thread about my pet topic, weekend challenges. He wasn't the only volunteer to take extra time with that thread, either (Bryan's time in the forums is, I believe, volunteer.)
So I thank them for their time and effort.

I have a feeling that this happened on some game mechanic/system related thread.
