Insulting others for nothing is cleary not a behavior to support.
Nice to see that there are still some individuals here, which don't act like I want to avoid them in the game and in reality.

Can I please get the links mentioned on earlier pages via pm?

@Bioware people: We still like you. :)

Above and beyond the great job the team has done in improving and extending the game, maintaining and interacting w/ an MP gaming community is hard work and Bioware has done fantastic job lately, mostly due to people like Bryan who play and interact often in their spare time.

There's a way to give constructive criticism/engage in dialogue and it's too bad when a few rotten apples can't understand that and all of us are worse off as a result. Some of the posts in that thread really made me wish BSN had killfiles, or even better yet, some way to downvote/show social disapproval.

Anyway, I'll add to the public kudos: thanks Bryan and co. Don't let the dbags get you down. Most of us realize and appreciate what you do, and it makes the whole MP community better when there's active dev participation!

To all of us of age:

I'd like to suggest that, in the near future, you raise a glass and toast Bryan. And another to Derek. These boards would not be the same without them.

Salud!

Not funny at all. Especially from one of the people who caused this to happen in the first place.

Thanks for this post. Glad to see this sort of thing, it's a nice reminder of how great our community really is. We understand that everyone can get heated sometimes when they are discussing something they are passionate about.

EDIT: Only 11 pages long? And please ignore Jaims, he got us into this mess.

I agree completely. I love having the opportunity to talk with the some of the great people at Bioware. I amazed at how well they're able to keep their cool despite how much of the hate they get from some people. They seem like really nice folks. I'd love to play xbl with them sometime actually....so yes.......get back to me if anyone is for that hahaha.

I caught the thread and was quite impressed to see Bryan Johnson getting involved in the discussion. It is not often you get to see direct interaction with the end users.

OPERATION BROJO

Muster up all of the galaxiesd forces to kidnap Brojo and force him to return to the forum to hear the awesome praise we are lumping on him, rather than the belittling crap he has had to endure.

Solo Goal:
Recognize that this guy cares about this game more than we do (though we're a close second)

Team Goal:
Convince the devs that we DO appreciate everything they have done, and that none of their efforts have been wasted on us

Rewards:
In your commendation pack you will receive a promise from the devs that they will stick around for the ride and make ME4 even better than ME3.

How exactly did he cause this to happen?  It was a single individual who went over the line with the comments.  That's what Bryan responded to, and that's the person who got banned.  Let's not go overboard here.  There wasn't a vicious mob of spiteful individuals who ganged up on Bryan in a coordinated attack.

The way some forumites act, you'd think that Bioware went George Lucas on the Mass Effect franchise. The dreams queening on the board can get way out of hand.

Didn't see what happened so, sorry I guess? Not surprised with the way these Message boards have fallen off lately. It's turning into a trollfest and half the threads are inane crap that I can't stand to read anymore. I never originally came here for that but stood around cause it was a fun board at first and a great place to learn new things about a deep rewarding co-op game.

Now the community is turning into nothing but spam, trolling, and immature inane commentary. I don't fault Bryan one second for wanting to take a break from some of the cretins that post on this board. He has to stay here cause it's his job. We don't we can take a break whenever we want. I personally would go nuts if I had to stay here for any length of time.

For the love of god can you implement an ignore feature for us posters who have some class and don't try to be cool-hip tryhards on a video game message board? Us posters who come here just to read up on changes, help new players out and offer advice without getting scorn?

Thanks.

Agreed. I am tired of this forum being so negative all the time. Best way to combat it is to try and ignore it and add reasonable posts instead. Feed the good threads, ignore the bad ones and whatnot.

Also, you do not have to live there locally. Fuss Cupcakes is but a phone call away and does deliveries. Don't want to pay for an international call? Cookies By George accepts orders online, has a local store nearby, and also does deliveries. Same day deliveries sometimes, too, if you catch them in the morning!

*ahem* You know, for those so inclined to send your appreciation in edible form. I wouldn't know anything about that. Image IPB

Can we let this thread go without some hate... it's a apology thread to a Dev who was wronged by a select few individuals. This is a bad way to show someone an apology.

It's really debatable we are all human like the rest of the world.  But I don't know any person in Canada that will pass up Timmehs Timbits and a Double-Double or Triple-Triple (that is if you're a coffee fan).

Tis' the stuff of legends dem timbits.  :kissing:

I foresee a blizzard of cupcakes, donuts ... whatever, descending on BioWare in the next few days ...

With a thread by NPewes saying, "Stahp!!! ... Don't ... Stahp!!! ... Don't ... Stahp!!!, Don't Stahp!!! ... Don't Stahp!!!, BSN pls"

Followed by a thread from Derek saying, "Creme filled, glazed, with chocolate icing, BSN pls"

And a thread by Bryan saying, "send coffee, mocha latte preferred ... must ... wash down ... forbidden donuts, BSN pls"

OK, 'nuff said.

*sneaks out back of thread before DragonRacer notices*
