I must confess I was a bit astonished to read in the other thread (the one with the beautiful femshep banner <3 ) that BroJo was away for some time and was heartedly welcomed back as I obviously was not in the forums when this happened (and so for me at this point BroJo was never gone).

When I read in this apology thread about what happened I really was shocked that this could go so far. I do not want to read that thread which caused BroJo to nearly leave us as it is more than enough what was told about this here.

For me the interaction with the devs is highly valuable and I only come here to BSN to read the threads with the BioWare logo on it and I especially like the threads with BroJo (and Derek) posting in it.

Without this interaction, without these threads this forums would be dead for me and I would not think one second about whether I should come here again.

So please stay with us as the majority of us do appreciate and respect you and your work (your work, Bryan and yours, Derek, but also that of all the other BioWare staff being active here as well as that of all the ones we will never see)!

I have not personally communicated with a Bioware employee, but I have enjoyed reading their comments and their discussions of all aspects of the game. I find them informative and their perspective interesting. I heartily appreciate the information/communication given for free. So I second the comments here, thanks to Bryan, Eric, and everyone else who bothers to talk to us.

As for the game itself, I personally do not find any bug or glitch in the game so bad that it renders the game "not fun" for me, except for the missile glitch. All other items are at worst, annoying but manageable, but I have enjoyed every match I've played. Which is not only an incredible statement, but a testament to the Bioware team and the quality of the game.

Even more remarkable (for me personally), I despise multiplayer games and I swore I'd never play one again and I had NO intention of trying the MP portion of ME3. But I had a trophy that I needed to get so I logged on one day...in August. And I was hooked; I've probably played every other day since then. This is such an awesome, addictive game, I've loved every minute of it and it was money VERY well spent. And I don't know when I'm ever going to stop.

So thanks to everyone at Bioware; those behind the scenes that I've never seen on BSN, those that post here, and those that continue to work on the game for me. Your clan has brought a TON of fun into my life.

QFT

This is primarily my focus as well, those are almost always the only threads I read.

It's not often that I'll read the entire way through a 12-page thread but this was compulsive reading- and so many people have said what I feel about it so much more elequently than I could that I'm just going to content myself with quoting them;

I like this thread.
Not just because I support it, as I have never had any hate towards the devs. I also like it because it is nice to see people caring about another person. It is always good to see the compassionate side of humanity.

In any case, we love your participation not only in-game, but here on these forums. I know I am not the only one
to obsessively click on all the Bioware tags...

So whenever you come back, if you do, I hope you read all of our responses and realize that we greatly appreciate the amazing game and community you have created.

Bryan's commitment to the forum is appreciated a lot. As is the appearance of other devs as well.
The comments by Bryan have contributed quite to my understanding how  rolling out game-related content works and why some things are not just that simple as people think they are.
He did so while not resorting to too much "corporate speak", which is quite a feat in my eyes.

A forum like this is always unfair, because the users have the advantage  of anonymity and the devs are easily identified in person. I hope people keep that in mind.

Well said, BSN- and thanks to Warmachine for the OP.

Not funny at all. Especially from one of the people who caused this to happen in the first place.

How exactly did he cause this to happen?  It was a single individual who went over the line with the comments.  That's what Bryan responded to, and that's the person who got banned.  Let's not go overboard here.  There wasn't a vicious mob of spiteful individuals who ganged up on Bryan in a coordinated attack.

Can we let this thread go without some hate... it's a apology thread to a Dev who was wronged by a select few individuals. This is a bad way to show someone an apology.

I'm sorry, are you talking to me?

To everyone really... i'm not singling anyone out.

Okay, no problem, I just wanted to make sure I understood what you were saying.

EDIT: Only 11 pages long? And please ignore Jaims, he got us into this mess.

Him and two others... One of which hit his limit and cashed out (unvoluntairly)...

But on a positive note, Lets keep the good vibe going until we here a word from the voice of knowlege and wisdom himself...yet avoid that fine line that would make this spam.:innocent:

QFT.

I too appreciate OP for creating this. And I hope Bryan feels better and comes back to a community that truly does appreciate and support the things that he, and the rest of the BioWare staff do for us. Haters are going to hate, as they say. :wizard:

Could someone please give me a summary of what this is about? Either post or PM is good, thanks. I'm just curious.

Someone was throwing personal attacks at BioWare and, in particular, Bryan. And Jaimas more or less mocked him into just leaving.

TL:DR
Somebody
said for 17 pages the BW staff didn't do their jobs at all and insulted
them which resulted BroJo to take some time off from BSN.

Thanks.

As one who watched that train wreck of a thread unfold, it really should have be locked long before it was. By the time the personal attacks were in full force, any usefulness of the thread had disappeared. Not the dev's fault, but when most of the page is a 2 or 3 people flaming each other and the devs with equal ferocity, it's time to lock it down. I think most of the time they let people get away with way more than they really should.

That being said, please don't let the moronic actions of a few cast a bad light on everyone else. As most everyone else has said, we really do appreciate all of your interactions with us. This forum would be nowhere near as good as it is without it.

To ALL the devs:
Thanks so much for all the hard work and effort you put into ME3, and continuing to reply to your gamers via BSN.  It's your company's first multiplayer and this time last year people were already trying to write it off. But guess what, we're still playing!

Sometimes you can miss all the really nice people on here and get distracted by the same argumentative immature people who just want attention. But they are by far in minority. Most of us really appreciate all the work you guys are still putting into keeping everybody happy with new releases, balances changes and continuing to respond to your players via the forums, even a year after release. You guys wouldn't do any of that if you didn't genuinely care about your work and want to keep everyone happy.

So THANK YOU!

Please come back soon and talk to us

<3

Edit: Quote if you agree!

Very well said, and I agree completely! I think it is a good thing to discuss issues that some of us have in the forums... that is why they are here, after all, but I do believe they should be done in a polite, respectful manner. Name-calling, and insults do absolutely nothing for the game, or the community.

Just because this is an internet forum, does not give someone an excuse to be rude, or disrespectful. I, for one, enjoy  reading responses, from any and all of the Bioware devs. It's a shame that his happened, to begin with.

I'm pretty sure the devs know that just because a few individuals don't know the meaning of civility, doesn't mean the entire fanbase is like that, but it certainly doesn't hurt to remind them of it.

Obviously nothing is perfect and there certainly isn't anything wrong with telling the devs what you think they are doing wrong, but for the love of god, be polite about it!!! And fyi, being polite isn't just avoiding foul language, you can be extremely rude even with "nice words".

Anyway, to the devs. we love what you've done and the efforts you've made to keep the game fun. :wizard:

P.S.: Thanks for the femshep banner too!

Not really ME3 MP related. Be excellent to each other.

End of line.
