I missed this thread (and I don't really care to look for it), but it's true that seeing devs that active on the boards is very nice. Let's hope the action of a few won't change Bioware's policy towards dev activity with the fanbase.

Keep it but Bioware, don't let the haters come under your skin.

Some forum newcomer came and cussed out Bryan in the most hostile and entitled manner in another thread spanning quite a few posts and continuously attacked his personal character and integrity.

Frankly, I don't believe such behaviour is ever warranted under any circumstances. It would appear that said user is either a psychiatric patient or is under the age of twelve. Fortunately, he's been banned.

I know they have nothing in common. Read them both.

The guy doing the bashing was doubtfully a newcommer. Just filled with hatred.

Nobody should have to tolerate the sort of thing that happened in that thread yesterday. I hope we see Bryan about again soon. Many of us i'm sure appreciate a great deal that the devs want to interact with us. After all, BSNers can be a demanding fanbase at times.

He had a maxed manifest from what I gather and knew a great deal about the game, credit is where credit is due but we all need an attitude adjustment at some point in our lives.

I was going to start a "Bryan Johnson is a Really Cool Guy" thread, but I decided to just post here instead.

I may sometimes disagree with BioWare on some issue or another, but the way the developers engage the community here is awesome.

But seriously: this kind of attacks is NOT what the community thinks about your work. I was raised to respect the work of the others, and I can honestly say that I love this game. I love it with all it's drawbacks. For me, the MP team are heroes who saved an awesome franchise, and I mean it. And Bryan Johnson is always there on the frontlines, sitting in the same trenches.

Quality sentiment here, but fwiw, I don't blame Bryan for taking a break for a few days/weeks/whatever. That thread got poisonous, in a bad way. Better for him to back off for awhile, let everything simmer down, rather than risk another attack like that happening and just making him decide to be done with the forums for good.

I rarely post much but I do read a lot of the posts, most of which are really whiny, but this is the first MP game I have played and even though there are some bugs I have to say after almost 1000 hours it is the best game I have ever played and the Devs for this game deserve more credit than they get. I hope Bryan does come back because I would really like to get a chance to play with some of the people who made this MP game possible.

Yes, please accept our apologies, Bryan Johnson and all of the Bioware developers. I am so sorry for the actions and rudeness of a few, and I think the wealth of posts here demonstrates that most of the BSN shares my sentiments. I understand taking a few days away from here; it is probably healthy to do so on a regular basis anyway.

In any case, we love your participation not only in-game, but here on these forums. I know I am not the only one to obsessively click on all the Bioware tags...

So whenever you come back, if you do, I hope you read all of our responses and realize that we greatly appreciate the amazing game and community you have created.
