Look, Brojo, I'm really sorry for how "some people" have acted in the past here, we're not all like that! I for one greatly appreciate what it is you do here! Please come back to us Byran! Your people need you!

I will second NPlewes' comment.  Thanks folks.

Bryan loves this game and he genuinely enjoys interacting with the community.

He has stated before that he doesn't have all the answers.  I don't either.  NPlewes?  I will let the legend continue.

It's true.  There are some people who need to keep things in perspective and realize that they do not speak for everyone and need an attitude adjustment.  This old soldier is often happy to oblige. Image IPB

I'm sorry to hijack this: Chris Priestly said more info on the next DLC mid-february; Will we get a little heads up in advance, or are you guys gonna surprise us?

I don't know if you'll see this and I can already feel the hate and flame I'm gonna get thrown my way by other members of BSN, but on behalf of those who enjoy the interaction of the devs, and as some one who has recieved an anwser from you in a post let me apologize for the hateful posting of one of our fellow  and  now former BSN members in another post(you know who and which post). Thank you and Eric and Derek for taking an active role in the boards. I know you don't have too and it's greatly appreciated. Thank you and please don't stay away too long.

Didn't know about the situation but have seen other interactions with devs that were hard to read. We all need to remember to stop & think, every once in a while, before posting. Failing to filter undue disrespect. not followed by an apology from the offender should be perma-bannable.

I've never read a post from a dev that was written to offend any community member, or anyone at all, so how do people feel it's ok to insult them? Good riddence to the offender...there are better ways to make a point.

He reads his private messages, I'm sure. I sent him one once, he responded. Unless you just want to get the attention of the whole forum...

Is attention ok if it results in the community showing support & inviting the devs back into interacting with us in a non-hostile environment?

Bringing it back to topic.

I'd like to second (third?) the comments made by NPlewes and Derek Hollan.

A group of fans interacting in the same space as Developers, talking back and forth, is a unique and awesome thing. Bryan's dedication to maintaining and promoting the dialogue with the community is a great thing and I sincerely hope it can continue. The hurtful comments made towards Bryan as well as to our Dev team in general were inappropriate and serve only to damage the relationship between developer and fan. However, the comments here help remind us that we have an amazing fan community and that's the reason we're here and who we want to have a dialogue with.

So, thanks, it means alot to see this kind of support.

Cheers to you Brothers and sisters as well.

also, I am a man of my word. the Pic i said i would make has been made. I have only now but to wait.

Just wanted to say as well, Bioware have a great team and you've produced some great games. I've lost more years of my life to Bioware games than any other label, from Baldurs Gate on, and I'm embarrassed that some of my fellow fans have descended into abuse and hurtful comments. Here's hoping that Bryan will be back soon; this kind of interaction between devs and players is something that's so rare and should be applauded.

Yeah, once you get the Mama Bear juices flowing, it's hard to un-rile yourself.

I am a big, hairy, scary looking dude.  And my wife is way more terrifying than I am once she's riled up, and probably a lot more dangerous.  Don't screw with Mama Bears.

A few @ssholes act like @ssholes, and the good guys have to fix their @sshole-ness in threads like this. This is sad. Anyways, Bryan if you read this, I hope you know better, the rest of us really appreciate what you do and how you maintain your presence and listen to us. Please don't let a couple of unappreciative douchbags ruin it for you, for us.

@xx DJ ONE xx: I had no idea what happened yesterday, until I read that thread this morning. If I had known, I wouldn't posted the quoted text above, obviously.

Thank you to all the Developers of BioWare games! I probably wouldn't be a gamer if not for you. It was your games that brought me into this (the gaming) world. I have never found an online mp game I enjoyed before this one, and I don't expect to find another I'll enjoy as much as this one. The BSN is a major factor in that, because when I was first starting out here I was able to find the info I needed to become a competent and confident player. None of this is possible without you.<3:kissing:

Thank you,

Anyone with sufficient protective instincts kicking in the "no more, sucker" gear is someone you don't want to mess with. I for one have seen a Papa Wolf in action once (from a distance) and the other guy was DESTROYED.

I have to applaud BroJo for keeping his composure. He is one of the best guy's around and is always willing to lend his advice to a discussion. For some BSNers to try and attack him in that way was completely uncalled for and for him to walk away instead of locking the thread shows guts and maturity.

Thank you BroJo and please come back we all miss you and some of us are even willing to pull a "Jay and Silent Bob" ...... "How many people wanna kick some Ass? I DO I DO..."

*knock *knock *knock, Door opens

"Hi do you post on BSN under the name ******"
"yes"
*Punch to the face
"That was for BroJo!!!!!"

To all the BW employees, a heart felt THANK YOU for everything you guys and gals do to further the only online game I play. The whole premise that it is not about me, not about you, but about working together is not only reflected in the game, but reinforced on BSN by all the BW FRIENDS that take their OWN PERSONAL TIME to come and interact with us. To work with us to make the game we love better. Everything takes time and patience to become better. Our society has become too much about instant gratification to the point that some disregard manners as well as forgetting that all good things come in due time with intelligent conversation and thoughtful debate. I understand that a lot of people love this franchise so much and become very passionate about it, but there are lines that should not be crossed, and forgetting ones manners is among the top. The community must always remember, why we ( gamers and BW employees ) are on the BSN, to work together to help continue and further a part of the game we love. So to all the positive, polite, helpful gamers and BW employees.......

THANK YOU

I logged on just for this thread.

I have to say, Brojo is an integral part of this community. He involved himself way more than any other Developer I have seen on a forum and was more than willing to take the blame for things, just because they needed to be done. The fact that he plays with the community consistently, and even did live gameplay shows he does care.

There will be a void without Bryan's BioWare logo on the front page. As for the rest of the Dev's, the 99% of us really appreciate what you guys do. Don't let the minority get to you.

I'm sure they'll agree that critical opinions are welcome, if expressed in a constructive and civil way. There's no communicating with a child throwing a temper tantrum, just as there's no way to hold discourse on gaming design with someone who thinks personal attacks support his argument.

I don't always agree with the things done in this game but I never take for granted the communication from the dev team. There's a lot of games where that isn't the case. So, here's my support for Bryan.

Bioware: thank you for all you do here.
It is greatly appreciated by most, some people just don't get it and never will.
You have my support and always will!

Also I have been gaming a very long time and owned pretty much every gaming system since the beginning of video games.

Mass Effect 3 is my #1 ALL-TIME FAVORITE GAME EVA!

Bryan's commitment to the forum is appreciated a lot. As is the appearance of other devs as well.
The comments by Bryan have contributed quite to my understanding how rolling out game-related content works and why some things are not just that simple as people think they are.
He did so while not resorting to too much "corporate speak", which is quite a feat in my eyes.

A forum like this is always unfair, because the users have the advantage of anonymity and the devs are easily identified in person.
I hope people keep that in mind.

I admire the Bioware devs for even acknowledging the community, because they don't have do to it at all. They're much better guys than me, that's for sure. I stalk these forums, and have for years-- but I rarely post on them as I know I would likely be incited to INSTA-RAGE at some of the horrible stuff that's said by dudes hiding beneath Cloaks of Anonymity and Armor of Entitlement.

Bryan and all the devs here are supercool dudes who tolerate and put up with wayyyyy more awful than anyone deserves.

If I were made out of all kinds of money, I'd drive on up to Edmonton and buy them some Alley Kat beers.

And things like this are why many developers are hesitant to interact with us.

I appreciate any chance we get to talk with ANY dev team, and would hope it will continue here.

As a few other people on here wrote, I too just read through that thread. I've rarely encountered so much misplaced venom and bile. I don't know what to say other than I don't feel that way. I think BioWare has done a fantastic, fantastic job with this game. The multi-player will go down as my most played game of all-time. I don't see anything dethroning it any time soon. Are there bugs or glitches? Sure. Are they "game-breaking"? No. Most are minor nuisances when you get right down to it. Never stopped me from playing.

As for Mr. Johnson, I miss his intelligent and often extremely entertaining posts already. You're a good man sir, for putting up with so much undeserved abuse for so long. You're not the the dev we deserve, but I think you're the one we need.

it is not how the argument went in that other thread i dont think, Bryan is Convinced that he broke his own rules by calling out the BSN'er that had a certain signiture.

so it seems like to me he is more mad at himself than any one BSN'er, so he gave himself a self ban as he would do to anyone else that he thinks that broke that rule.

i believe that is the issue here anyway, i dont agree that he broke his own rule tho, he mearly pointed to content that was already on the public forums.

the reason i think this is the reason is i know how that type of person thinks, cause that type of person is like me, we punish ourself harder than anyone else could when we think we screw up.

so he is just trying to do the right thing by his belief's, also it is quite obvious he doesnt believe in a double standard.

does he deserve the self ban? no, at least in my opinion, although maybe it should have been handled differently, but hell we are only human.

pretty touchy feely stuff in my post, but i aint scared.
