The most horrible thing, is... Bryan has stated that he is hard to anger. And those guys managed to do it.

I'm sorry, but they should be ashamed of themselves. Just reading that stuff made me sick. I can't imagine having to respond to it.

I suppose I'll jump in to say that I really like this game and the work the devs have done. Most of my forum visits now are just to read the dev posts.

I really appreciate the work you've done, devs!

I have a quite sizeable gaming backlog, yet I still find myself choosing this game over so many others, because of how fun the multiplayer is.

Wordems... I really enjoy this game and greatly appreciate the ability to see the devs interacting on these forums. I think people forget sometimes how great of a product they are using, because of the wish for the thing we love to be perfect.

Right now my N7HQ says I've played 435 hours in-game. I can't think of a better use of $60, or whatever the game cost at launch. When you consider that you pay something like $8 to see a 2 hour movie, or $35+ dollars for a 1 hour dinner with a significant other... this game gives you so much more enjoyment for your money than practically any other investment you could make.

So yeah, thank you Bioware, and thank you dev team for actually engaging with the community.

Eh.. sometimes it's smart to rage quit. If he was close to going a bit overboard, as someone with the 'BioWare' logo beneath his name, it's smart to back off for a bit. Hope he does come back soon, and I hope he doesn't get chased off by dickbags that think they know more about the development and testing process than the devs do.

To ALL the devs:
Thanks so much for all the hard work and effort you put into ME3, and continuing to reply to your gamers via BSN.  It's your company's first multiplayer and this time last year people were already trying to write it off. But guess what, we're still playing!

Sometimes you can miss all the really nice people on here and get distracted by the same argumentative immature people who just want attention. But they are by far in minority. Most of us really appreciate all the work you guys are still putting into keeping everybody happy with new releases, balances changes and continuing to respond to your players via the forums, even a year after release. You guys wouldn't do any of that if you didn't genuinely care about your work and want to keep everyone happy.

So THANK YOU!

Please come back soon and talk to us

Just read through the thread, damn, how can anyone accuse BioWare of those things, sure they've screwed up here and there (Day 1 DLC, Various Major Bugs) but at the end of the day EVERY major bug has been addressed, the Vanguard Glitch, the Credit Glitch, the Missile Glitch (We really need to be more creative with the names for glitches btw) and rightfully so. The only glitch I can think of that is a priority now is the PS3 Collectors glitch but I have zero experience with PS3 so won't even begin to speculate on what the issue is.

Suffice to say BioWare is doing their best to roll out fixes, I mean sure I would rather have had them hold back 1.05 until a few minor glitches were fixed (50% Weight Mod, the Particle Rifle + Infidrell camera angle, Quarian Marksman having low base health and shields, Headshot bonus on Tac Scan) or some gameplay changes (Geth Stunlock or the Rio Box of Cowardice) but the thing is, with 1.05 they not only proved that they can eradicate Missile Glitch (I've seen a few complaints about it being reintroduced with the Acolyte fix, not sure if the rumours are true) but also cleared up an issue with Collectors Power Combo Damage (a not-minor issue). And yes they introduced one or two unintended glithches with the patches but not one exists in the game now. QA did screw up with the Collector PS3 Glitch but regardless of whether or not they found the glitch or not there is no way they could have fixed it in time for intended release (as Bryan mentioned how they managed to fix one of the issues causing the Vanguard Glitch).

The guy never deserved to enjoy this game, he was an idiot, BioWare obviously cares about money, if a game doesn't make money then they can't make games, it's that simple, but no company doesn't care about their fans, sure some may not be 100% dedicated but do you think BioWare would release something like Big Rigs - Over the Road Racing? No, it would destroy the company's image (you saw the uprising because of the, imo perfectly fine, if slightly underwhelming, ending). Why? Because it's the fans who they are trying to please. Sure the Producer (EA) may only be interested in proving that a game works (would explain the issue with QA) but that is a debate for another forum, but I can say with absolute certainty that BioWare did a great job with Mass Effect 3. It was virgin territory to them and they surpassed many expectations. Here's hoping for an even great Multiplayer in Mass Effect 4 (or whatever they are calling it).

Thank you BioWare.

And my apologies to Bryan Johnson, no man should be called out by a punk over the internet just because they think they know better than a games developing giant when it comes to designing games as big as Mass Effect... Surprised you stayed cool for that long...

we are kinda going off topic, not really but sorta.

but ya this games MP is the best Co-op out there right now IMO.

because replay value is off the charts, constant action, and just climbing in and having a blast with people we know.

i have made several friends from Pugging too.

i have spent so much time in this game, it is ridiculous, i have taken a 3 to 4 week break recently, but will be returning in full force soon.

ive spent alot of time in other CO-OP games lately, they just fall short IMO of what ME3 MP gives us.
it gives us unlimited replay value.

im sure some people dont agree, but there are obviously a metric crap ton of people out there that do agree.

on topic.

i left out in my other post that through PM's Bryan has helped me on several issue's like a pure pro, he also never gave up trying to figure out the cause's.

i never bought a single Pack with real money, but he helped me as if i had stock in the company.

anyway, damn good man with high morals and standards. :innocent:

I just read through the abomination that led to this. Leaving aside the ranting a-holes (even BW can't fix the internet) never in my life have I seen such dedication and effort that devs have thrown in this game trying to meet the requests of players. Considering how complex the game is, that's not easy task either. Even having the critics posting comments at this point after release IMHO proves how well crafted product we have in our hands. Otherwise they had just tossed it aside long time ago. I think this is exactly because devs have the patience and endurance to listen our sometimes insane demands and actually respect us by trying their best to meet them. I think little respect for them isn't too much to ask for.
Also for Bryan, get your ass back here. We need you man!

I look at some other forums and hate doing so. What keeps me coming back to BSN is the interaction the devs have with us. I won't apologize for something I wasn't involved in, but I will show my support for the devs. These guys are the s*** as Joker would say.

BSN can be a harsh place and while criticism in general should always be welcome among developers and creators of any kind, it has to be presented with the utmost respect for the work in question.

I won't apolo(l)gize for the deeds of someone else but I will say that I highly appreciate the dev interaction. Keep up the good work. :)

I've no idea what this is about and haven't read the whole thread yet, but I can very well imagine it was something very rude and unnecessary, considering it is BSN.

I may not always agree with Bioware but being rude and shouting is not gonna help anywhere at all. Thanks to the devs and the company who have done so many great things and take part of the community even when some on BSN are complete... well... stupid. :P

Didn't know about the situation but have seen other interactions with devs that were hard to read. We all need to remember to stop & think, every once in a while, before posting. Failing to filter undue disrespect. not followed by an apology from the offender should be perma-bannable.

I've never read a post from a dev that was written to offend any community member, or anyone at all, so how do people feel it's ok to insult them? Good riddence to the offender...there are better ways to make a point.

I think part of the problem is that some folks see that little blue BioWare tag and their eyes suddenly glaze over, causing them to view that person, not as a person, but as a part of the company collective. So, they start throwing all their rage for BioWare (for whatever reason they have said rage) at whatever poor soul posted with a BioWare tag on his or her profile.

What folks need to remember is THESE ARE PEOPLE. Real live people, not some borg entity. They have opinions. They have feelings. They have pride in their work. All of which they are allowed to have as human beings. It's just the Golden Rule, folks. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Would you rather someone engage in constructive criticism by being civil with you or by proverbially slapping you?

Yeah, once you get the Mama Bear juices flowing, it's hard to un-rile yourself.

I am a big, hairy, scary looking dude.  And my wife is way more terrifying than I am once she's riled up, and probably a lot more dangerous.  Don't screw with Mama Bears.

I agree, on both counts. I applaud WARMACHINE for making this thread - gutsy move, IMO. I was a bit concerned with the direction it might take, considering the Negative Nancies seem to be out in force as of late, but this has instead turned into something very nice, both for Bryan and for the other BioWare staff.

And, yes, I think it was needed. A negative portion of our community viciously attacked someone who has done NOTHING but try to give, give, give to us. Answering questions, personally researching issues, doing everything within his power to assure us quality. Both on and off work hours. And that was the thanks he got. No, not from us, specifically, but from our peers.

Sadly, it's not the first time something like this has happened. There are devs who have had one too many negative experiences like that who pretty much don't post here anymore. It is up to US - the civil, mature, understanding BSN members - to extend that olive branch of peace and try to keep some of the more negative elements in check. Disagreements are fine, constructive criticism is fine. Abuse is not fine - EVER - towards a BioWare team member OR towards your fellow BSN poster.

I hope this serves as a good wake-up call for all of us.

That makes me smile. And there are those who say the folks at BioWare don't care or listen to their fanbase. There's something I'd like to say those types of folks can go and do, involving themselves, but I won't.

I like playing with Bryan he's pretty fun

the fact people lash out like they do cause nothings instantly gratifying their "pleasures" like this game is under their demand, like all things are fixable in a lower finite time of their belief, and can't take more than a few moments to realize..it's hard work they'll never prob be able to do cause they don't have the time dedication or skills to even perform whats our Devs do...I'm sickened as a game designer, and as a BSNer

I'm so happy this thread is still alive. Thanks to every one who has posted. To anwser a few questions A) this is not about me, I read the thread in question last night and started this thread because after what happened I know I would've needed some lovin' and I thought our most active dev deserved a little. B) as to what happened I haven't posted a link because a) I don't know how and B) I didn't want to sully this thread with that one(if you just gotta know there are a couple of links in the thread others have put in). C) Keep the love coming!!! Let Bryan and the other devs know how we feel, though sometimes we don't act like it.

Well now, looks like he's able to read my mind. Didn't even care about what the thread said, I just saw the name of who posted it and was about to answer based on that. Good thing that I had the decency to read the first post.

So.... I guessed I might write something here.

Not much, I'd just like to say that you're a great member of the dev team, and a cool guy. Don't let some random idiot fool you: lots and lots and lots of people here appreciate what you do, BroJo. And lots of people here would like to keep that kind of interaction intact, as it's amazing.

Keep up the good work
