As an aside, True HD TV doesn't mean your console can display true HD.
Afaik only the PS3 can display native 1080p via HDMI connection. Everything else is considerably lower or upscaled, which is not true HD.

I never understood why anyone has "hate" for one gaming system over another. I have played PC games, console games, hand held games, phone games, card games, board games... its all good imo.
But, I think PC gamers just generally have that elitist mentality. Its a much smaller community of players, there is a certain amount know-how needed, the price buy-in is larger, and the resulting graphic-performance is generally superior. So like any "exclusive" group, they feel they are better.
Since I am not an eye-candy graphics junkie, the only good thing about PC over Consoles is the mouse and keyboard. However, XIM3 (link in my sig) has basically rendered PCs meaningless as a gaming platform (for me at least).

I think your a tad too serious for this thread.
Also, your PC gamers generally have an eltist menatility is wrong as wrong can be. A mentality is an individual take, not a social one. It's a widespread fallacy that mentalities areborn grom groups, instead of the factual natural gathering of people with alike mentalities. That however doesn't hold true for the majority of PC gaming at all, since the common denominator to the question "do I want to become a PC player" is "do I want a PC for gaming". Any future exclusitivity mentality is entirely optional and rare as I may add.
99.9% of all people that make the PC master race comment mean it as a joke, a little teasing. Like calling a friend an **** for telling that girl he likes he once danced naked on a party.

Lotta cheese in this thread, most of it subjective witticisms rather than fact and experience. If anything, I'd rather hear more about the guy who massaged his nootsack with a controller than whatever words of wisdom people have about their platform of choice.

I admit I'm a dirty console player but might choose to ascend to the master race if these rumors going around about next gen consoles turn out to be true. I'll still use my 360 controller though to keep it real. I once asked Javik about the keyboard/mouse setup. He only laughed in my face and said:
