Really? How? The dollar signs maybe? Those are just for fun as a pun on my buddy Caineghis for using asterisks all the time. lol. The post was not meant for smugness in any way. These are meant as guides and tutorials. 

Im being honest when I ask what made you think of it this way. Just curious as to I dont really know what takes in this forum anymore really. I have posted clean titles for guides and they end up on page 1000 within seconds....I try to liven it up then...Im a DB? lol. I honestly am not even sure how to post anything here that doesnt give the impression of non smugness even when I didnt write anything that remotely indicates any pride.

Just post what the thread is about. Don't mention yourself, or Team Aerelex, or whatever. Nobody really cares about any of that, especially since they can already see your name right below the title. If they're interested in a Platinum Speedrun Tutorial Video, then they'll watch it.

I prefaced my original comment with the fact that I appreciate INVADER's level of skill. I normally don't say anything when the well known forum vets get up to their antics. Most of them seem like cool guys, INVADER included. I don't normally criticize these sorts of things, and I'm never one of those jackasses who goes into a thread about the "celebs" and has the audacity to say "I've never heard of him" like that is supposed to mean anything. But, when I saw this thread title I literally sighed in exasperation at how most of the words in it were useless and unnecessary and could only serve to invite the kind of criticism I leveled.

Actually you don't care about any of that. You are the one who has a problem with the title which 99.9% of BSN would say has no smugness involved with it.

I would say that a large portion of the whiners on this forum needs an ample nerf to the stick stuck up their ass.

I believe in lifting others up. Naming team AreleX and this partnership for Speed Running I thought would interest people as most people know Team AreleX does Speed Running and I do tutorial guides. By just posting Speed Running Tutorial guide most people wouldnt care as most know I am not a speed runner. By adding Team AreleX as the lead and this partnership I figured it would show my respect for what they do and also hint at other forum members that this is not just me coming up with stuff but I am the follower here and learning with everyone else. I am fine with naming Team AreleX and as they say...give praise where praise is due. Team ArelexX gets my respect and can have their name in the title thread in my opinion. Its just my opinion though and I do understand yours as well.

Ease up on the white knighting, guy. It was constructive criticism. Further, INVADER already responded in a mature and reasonable manner. He doesn't need you to "defend" him, especially since he's not even under attack.

Fair enough. I just feel as if after a point it becomes not unlike an obnoxious radio commercial about a monster truck show. Mention the folks involved in the OP and the video's description, instead, maybe. Shoving all of that information into the thread title strikes me as ostentatious.

I don't know about that, but I got to the point to where I made a mock-up of many things BSN was complaining about. Went on for awhile, but Stan got to it.

My criticism was constructive, actually. I pointed out a way in which his thread's title could be misconstrued, as I miscontrued it, and suggested an alternate course of action.

Also, typing the word "insecure" a bunch of times doesn't actually make me insecure. It's pretty difficult to be insecure about something you've openly acknowledged, which I'll remind you I did do in my first post. I'm sure INVADER would outscore me any day of the week, and if we weren't on different platforms I'd be happy to find out.

I entered it into the conversation because you keep insisting I'm insecure in regards to INVADERONE's accomplishment.

And, no, I was merely the only person who commented to that effect. I don't presume to speculate on how many people actually felt it was smug. I was pointing out that the conclusion could be drawn, not that vast multitudes of people DID draw that conclusion.
