This is probably going to turn into a gigantic flamewar but whatever.  Serious question.  Why do you want to wear the femshep banner if you are a guy?  Statistics show that people generally choose avatars that are the same sex as they are.  Now, I know that Jennifer Hale is widely considered a better voice actor than Mark Meer, but I'd be willing to bet that most of your "main" Sheps are male, just like mine is.  Sure, I have a secondary femshep but my main guy is male.

Plus, I'm not totally down with the new picture of her.  The default femshep from ME1 and ME2 was way better.  That picture of her looks weird.  Just my opinion.

Why not, if you like the aesthetics better than the male one?

I tend to play as a female first in these sort of rpgs usually, and also did so in ME.

I look at it this way. If you're going to be playing a 3rd person video game for the next 20-40 hours, you might as well be staring at an ass that looks good.

Statistics show that 84% of statistics are made up on the spot.

People's avatars usually reflect their gender?

Yeah... about that...

Let me go confirm if I'm actually a female Quarian or not.

"Because ---- you, that's why."

Because it's new, and new things are cool. Until everybody realises they're cool. Then they're not cool anymore. But then, they get old and are cool again. So expect to see lots of FemShep banners in 2018. Or something.

I don't know about that. My sex has very little to do with the fact that (Hale>Meer) => my main Sheppard is female.

Therefore, I'd like my BoB banner to be femshep/J.Hale too.

If I were a guy, I wouldn't wear it, but only because I don't intend on getting it.

I think the real answer most people here are afraid to say is "because my genitals demand it."

Because, if I'm going to be staring at some random arse for the next 60 hours, it might as well be a girl's arse. Same goes for the BotB banner, just feels too ****** to be staring into another man's eyes, especially some big grizzled warrior looking man.

The reason I wouldn't use it because I think the default femshep they chose for ME3 looks horrendously ugly. I'd be more interested if they stayed with classy and tasteful default femshep from ME1/2.

I'm glad though that Brojo got it added for those who wanted it.

Generic male shepherd looks terrible, it looks like they actually spent time making the femshep look cool. That and I find female characters inherently more cool/fun to play, no idea why, my main SP characters are femsheps.

young men enjoy looking at pretty ladies. end of mystery.

I think it looks a bit better than the Sheploo one. The red hair matches better with the background.
