Well damn, I thought I was a girl, not an asexual robot. Better go replace my ID...

Dat laughing. I haz done it. Thanks. =]

If derailing this thread is what you want, all you need to do is admit you are a woman (once again), say you're a newbie looking for white knights to protect you from evil Reaper minions in the MP and it'll be done.

You'll also be harassed and stuff, but that's irrelevant. :P

But I'm not a girl, I'm an asexual robot. Get it right.

ETA: Also, now I'm curious, think I can get guys to offer to "carry" me on gold to teach me the ropes? Obviously the following step is to play VolEngie and outscore them by 60-80k, but that part's easy. :D

Lol, I said generally. Plus this is a different case. This just shows you like quarians. If they had an option between a male quarian and a female quarian, would you still have picked the female?

Evidently I would have, seeing as how there is a male quarian avatar(there might even be 2) =P

Also if you were to take all of my characters in games where A. I have the choice and B. It's meaningful(aka Skyrim doesn't count because I'm in first person 99% of the time anyway) then I suspect it would be roughly a 50/50 split.

I'm still very much a guy IRL and still attracted to only women, but it just doesn't bother me to play a female character in a RPG, and I often have a specific character in mind that I want to play as if I'm given the choice.

I always knew that truck drivers were a bunch of weirdos, they should put only pictures of naked men in their truck habitacle.

I'll sound off on this one because there's really no gender-specific issue here in answering. The answer would be the same for either gamer gender, your Shepard is female so you use a female banner for the forums.

The same goes for Multiplayer -- if you're playing female kits, having a female-oriented banner is about feng shui. Not to mention a lot of ladies, ahem, would also prefer it. (Although some will not use it, so as not to advertise, some men will for reasons mentioned above.)

To be honest, I've long been of the opinion that -every MP kit- should have a male/female variant. It's a shame that only the Human kits do this. :(

Gender is not black an white. Some people identify with the oposite sex for one of many possible reasons: orientation, temperment, mood, icons, etc.

Expecting men to flock to men and women to women is like expeced a white audience to cheer a white lead over a colored one. It's narrow minded.

If I had that banner, and if I could use my female Shepard as the picture I would.

But I hate the way the default one looks.

It's like the bunch of confused guys using girls' photos as profile pictures on the very BSN. I've never understood and I never will.

So you're really a salarian.  Do you eat flies?

Meh. I'm not even trying to debate this argument.

Who cares. Default femshep looks like a horse anyway.

If she had been there since the beginning, or at least Mass Effect 2, I would have some sort of emotional connection to her. Hell, I care more about the default orange-haired Femshep of Mass Effect 1 and 2, despite the fact that I've never played with that face.

*sigh* Forgive me. I resent that femshep because she was tackled into the whole ME promotional business too late. WAY too late.

I think it looks a bit better than the Sheploo one. The red hair matches better with the background.

That one. Somehow with FemShep the banner looks really pretty.

I look at it this way. If you're going to be playing a 3rd person video game for the next 20-40 hours, you might as well be staring at an ass that looks good.

Only reason to ever play with Sheploo.

I prefer platform shoes (no heels) and evening dress. Heels are too difficult.

Wouldn't say no to a good spanking though.

Guys might want to wear the FemShep banner because they might be weird enough to think Jennifer Hale does Shepard better than Mark Meer? Hale's performance sounds like she should be in a musical with high heels on singing about Reapers while Meer sounds like a guy who actually fought them. Not grudging against people who prefer the Coconut Effect in their fiction, but I don't personally.

Let me go confirm if I'm actually a female Quarian or not.

Just go masturbate. If it takes more than 90 seconds, you're a woman.

So I'm a woman, then. Funny, I thought I was just a bisexual cisgendered male. :innocent:

Well, considering that if you take the real life meaning of the term "gender" into account, they don't even have a female version - even though for convenience human translators tag them with female pronouns (it's the boobs)

Well, my only my "main" shepard (The one played through the series with the first time) was a Femshep actually...so, speak for yourself. But yeah, I don't like the look of that "femshep" either...my Femshep was always an African American woman with short hair, I find it suits Jennifer Hales voice more...if that makes sense...oh, and I'm a black woman.

I prefer platform shoes and evening dress. Heels are excruciating, and I'm already quite tall without them.

Wouldn't say no to a good spanking though.

Don't break my mood darling..you don't have to walk in them, just put them on and lay there, you know how to lay there right...I'll do the rest...now...you bad, bad, boy, you must be punished..*smack...smack...smack*
