Biowares Mass Effect 3 was still an excellent game Solaxe. Despite a crappy ending which was improved. The reason its not got the amount of RP adventure of ME1 and possibly 2 is because of the storyline. The time for investigation into the reapers/collectors/saren is over. It is the show down and time for war. That is why its an action packed game that retains adventure elements in the form of its many missions. In this respect however, best RPG may not be the best award for it. Neither is best mmo despite its multiplayer being excellent its not an mmo.

But its a galaxy at war and Mass Effect 3 creates the atmosphere of a galaxy in apocalyptic peril, and the grand sense of scale of such a war extremely well. No other game makes this scenario so well.

the devs combined them for whatever reason ex: Guild Wars 2 was in it...and btw the devs award this not us so it's there "award" show

Best RPG/MMO of 2012 was Guild Wars 2 in my opinion. Again its partly because the RPG competition was fairly weak this year but because it was PC only i think that went against it.

Mass Effect 3 is worthy of an award, but its not an MMO and its fairly weak as an RPG. Though its an excellent cinematic-sci fi action game.
