Hi, I purchased NWN2 from gog.com to play mulitplayer with the wife through LAN. Frequently, however, when transitioning from one area to another, the load screen says "waiting for 1 of 3 players". The problem is there are only 2 players and I'm not sure where the hell this mythical 3rd player that keeps preventing the game to load forcing me to turn on god mode (alt + f4) in order to restart the game.
Can anyone please help me locate the source of the problem and correct it?
Additional info that may be relevant: on my computer I am running only NWN2 OC which i purchased years ago, I do not have any expansions on my computer, she has the whole complete package from gog.com. both are fully upgraded. Also, both are running Windows 7.

I played in an online game that had the same problem, I can't specifically remember how it was resolved. Seems it was mainly the same player that had either a slower computer or connection.
1) Make sure the second and third computers are not using the default port. In other words, in documents/nwn2/nwn2player.ini change the "client port".

Client Port=5122 or 5123
2) Use Skywing's Client Extention on all computers to help resource loading and other networking fixes:

I'll try to remember how it was fixed. I've successfully hosted multiplayer games with two computers on LAN and one remote.

Also, I've heard some things that imply that the GOG installer doesn't put in the CD keys unless you run the extra CD key changer program the put in the start menu. This is a quote from the GOG forum:
Yes, you'll need an individual key that is provided and available when you click on the game box for NWN 2. It's NOT a serial key or required for single-player, just for multi-player

No need to request it as it's already availableCheck your account
