People out for glory runs or people who are just thoughtless or selfish - they're on their own.

Want to follow this up to make something clear; I'm not joking. When I'm playing with friends, we always have more fun if we troll each other just a bit. Most matches, we can be pretty damned sure that we'll win, so it's silly stuff like that that makes it fun.Zero132132 wrote...
Shoot possessed abominations near them.

Get out of the way when someone with a heavy weapon is lining up shots.
Shoot mooks that are about to surprise someone from behind.
Rocket bad situations.
Also, provide cover fire when someone is on a delivery run etc.

1. start up a bronze lobby.
2. level 20 Geth Infiltrator, Javelin X, Talon X, best consumables, Lone Wolf banner (I don't have BoB yet, if you do, that's the way)
3. be aggressive on the mic, attack every entering player, call them noobs, yell that they don't even have lvl 20 characters, or make fun of their loadouts, gear and stuff (hahaha, how that Explosive ammo is working for you pal), rince repeat until they leave.
4. you need at least 5 victims, preferably you get kicked out of your own lobby.
5. Now you can assume that these lucky people will never meet a bigger douchebag than the one you just created in front of their eyes and ears.

Here are some examples.
• Forget about your epeen score and just spam Cryo Blast on everything.
actually use a real power and whilst being nice still score decent: SNAP FREEZE, BIATCHES! N7 Paladin forever!

Here are some examples.
• Stay your the trigger finger and let the batarian finish his heavy melee.
• Let the delivery boy pick the pizza back up after you revive him, even though it takes a little longer.
• Let the guy running with you grab the control point while you cover him.
• Prime explosions someone otherwise wouldn't be able to detonate.
• Forget about your epeen score and just spam Cryo Blast on everything.
• Medigel right away when someone goes down trying to revive you.
Some of those, I do. If I spot a Batarian or Krogan about to heavy melee, I try to stop my trigger finger in time not to take their kill. I also try to leave Vorcha on their own so I don't take the kills they need for Bloodlust (but still lurk by near enough to swoop in for a revive as needed). And I can't always stop in time, but I try and do an abrupt "about face" when I see someone going for an over-cover grab.
I'm terrible about sharing objectives, though. It's a competitive race for me. Ha, beat you to the pizza! Ha, beat you to the start of the hack! That sort of thing. Now, I'm not stupid with it. If the Infiltrator is actually going for the four devices, I let him cap them while I provide overwatch a small ways away, and if there is someone on the team who is naturally faster or put on adrenaline mods, then I'll let them take the pizza. But all things being equal? It's fair game, baby!
Other things I try to do:
- Strip shields so the sniper has a clean kill shot
- Prime detonations, either biotic or tech in nature
- Stun enemies flanking a teammate (especially love zapping a Hunter with Overload to give my friend a chance to recover from the stagger)
- Stun enemies about to execute a fallen comrade
- Stop shooting the Possessed Abomination when it gets too close to a teammate
- Give the device deactivator some "help" by throwing up a Justicar bubble or placing a Geth Engineer healing turret nearby
- Restore a fallen teammate's shields, if I am using my Geth Engineer. Makes me smile to revive them, then quickly pop my healing turret at their feet so they instantly get their shields back with no wait. Especially useful if you just revived in the middle of a bad firefight.
- Blow a missle to stop a sync-kill unit from ending your teammate's wave early (bonus Feeling of Awesome if it was too late for a missile, but I manage to make the sync-kill unit drop their prey anyway)
My biggest downfall as a teammate is accidentally blocking shots. Especially since I roll Turians a LOT and they have fat back armor. LOL I am absolutely terrible at side-stepping in front of someone's shot... never on purpose, just me getting caught in that tunnel-vision "gotta kill it!" frame of mind. But I've been trying to be more actively aware of it so I can try and avoid doing it. Especially to the poor souls with sniper rifles. Um, especially single shot sniper rifles.
