Some people, such as myself, actually enjoy fighting against the Geth and I can't remember the last time we had a Challenge that was specifically aimed at them (if ever). The way I figure it, we were due one.

The only real problem with this challenge was the fact that by specifying Geth Troopers, they slanted it towards the lower difficulties, therefore creating yet another challenge that was most simply accomplished by playing solo bronze.

This challenge was slanted towards doing a solo on bronze. It should've been troopers, hunters, rocket troopers, the non armored Geth. It would've been more of a challenge

I wasnt enthusiastic about the challenge but it wasnt all that bad in the end. 

I dont remember any Geth specific challenges recently so i guess they were due a turn

If you are prepared and take the right class, Geth can actually be fun.
The 4 Kroguards is already a classic. A group of tech powers (4 Paladins, or 3 Paladins and a detonator like the Novaguard) or an all biotic team can also be very fun. Yesterday we played 4 biotics (Fury, Valkyrie, Asari and a Shaman I think) on Gold and whenever a prime showed up all you would hear was one biotic detonation after another. They were melting away before they even knew what hit 'em.

But if you are playing Unknown/Unknown and thus end up with the wrong character in a Geth match, it can be pretty frustrating. You turn around a corner, two Primes start firing at you in a perfect rhythm and from then on it's out of your control:
stunlock, stunlock, stunlock, stunlock, dead.

That is really fun. Why should you be given any chance to actually do something with your controller to get out of that situation?
With the Geth it's either you stagger them first or they stagger you. No middle ground.
