We already know most of what's to come with Awakening, but does anyone think completely new weapons will come as part of a DLC/Expansion? I don't mean a fancy looking longsword, I'm talking about new weaponry like a flail, halberd, spear, etc.

With new weapons the variety would increase, new possible abilites for rogues/warriors, and they could craft even more painful deathblows. I believe that spears may return, as I think they were cut from the game, in two cut scenes. The beginning of the game and the Battle Of Ostagar. In the intro I'm pretty sure a dwarf is imapled by multiple weapons, most of them resembling spears. The Battle of Ostagar when the darkspawn charge, shows a few wielding what looks like spears(it was mostly Genlocks too.)

So what do you think about a DLC with new weapons? What weapons would you like added?

Also for a nice side discussion: What is your favorite deathblow in the game? (I like the great sword ones : D)

Yeah, it would be really nice to have some new weapons with new abilities and death blows with them. Some variety in swords and daggers wouldn't be bad either though.
