An Idea for an Alternative Difficulty (sorry, long read)

I've been thinking lately and I've come up with an idea. I'm sure it's been posted before but let me know what you think anyway.

So I enjoy playing platinum quite a bit. But it's more or less a spam of boss units. Which is fine, my idea is just of an alternate difficulty. This is what it would entail:

All factions
Collector, Cerberus, Geth, and Reaper. The enemies would still function at the platinum difficulty health and behavior wise.

Possibly a higher wave budget
So more enemies per wave since I know it's difficult/impossible with the current system to have more than 8 enemies at any given time.

More infantry level units
There could still be bosses, but on the scale that bronze or silver has them. Or maybe just 1 at a time or something along those lines.

So that's the idea. The main reason I would like this is that there are classes and weapons that are very good but they just aren't as good at killing bosses/armored targets as some of their alternatives. Also it would give powers like pull and lash much more use. Vanguards/Havoc/Shadow would be able to charge around a little more and not have to worry about sync kills as much.

I realize this mode would definitely be easier than platinum just for the fact that it would have less sync killed players. So the payout could be lower, around Gold level (70 to 80k).

P.S. If you think this is just a dumb idea and I should feel bad, then say so. I'll quietly go away :whistle:.

TL;DR: A platinum difficulty with more infantry level units as apposed to bosses everywhere. Let me know what you think.
