I've been trying to get my turret on there for MONTHS!! When I acheive that, I will be a true deity ;)

Done it. B)

Deity status reckognized

Edit - I generally use a rocekt spec - so I place mine in good vantage points.
2nd Edit - There is also a way to use em as banshee bait - keeps em occupied for a while.

at doorways out of direct fire. the shock passes through thin walls and can stun phnatoms/dragoons as they try to come through

Same as most. I drop it where true battle calls.
For my flame sentry, I put it near the first corner of enemy spawns, so when they round the corner they are greeted by a wall of flame and my close to follow incendiary. For my rocket, I place it high overlooking the battle but within range of me and bad guys, so it shall rain explosions from the heavens.

Ahiji calls her sentry Ragnock, the mighty.

I put them in narrow corners and hallways unless I see a large target coming for me. Then it goes by them.

Tricky! I usually aim for spots with walls, because of the turret bounce. I tip my hat to peeps who can make this magic happen.

Usually behind the enemy of off to the side so they shoot at something else besides me or my teammates.

Into spawns and groups of enemies because I use it mainly for shock and flamethrower. I spam it too.

Something does need to be buffed. Either increase the damage a lot or the shields by a lot as it dies way too quickly at times.

Since the ROF competes with the main gun, flame thrower and the rocket launcher (it only fires one of them every 3 seconds or so) I think the whole power needs a MASSIVE damage buff and an cooldown nerf to balance it.

I place them strategically where it needs to be. Sometimes it's a stun grenade, sometimes it's a missile using sniper. Cross fires, watching my back, sentry duty. My turret is truly versatile despite not being the most powerful of powers.

Turrets are a girl's best friend. :P
