The Witcher 3 was announced?

Sorry to those hoping this is true, but this certainly hasn't come up as something for us to be afraid of. Personally, I'm willing to stand on the merits of our own game and not bother getting into partisan politicking between two studios that can peacefully coexist as far as I'm concerned.

Here is a fun article that details how easy it is to convince gaming journalists (and by extension fans) of just about anything.  Especially if it's something they want to hear.  Because it's on a website, doesn't mean it's true.

I hope TW3 is a kickass game because in the end kickass games is what we all want.

I'm closing this thread.

Erm. I hope they realise that CDPR hasn't set a release date yet. People have speculated that it will be 2014. I don't think I've heard or seen any of the Devs from CDPR say that, and there are one or two which pop into The Witcher threads here, from time to time, with those of us who frequent them.

It's the same as Cyberpunk "it's ready when it's ready"

The curse of the 24 hour news service. There isn't 24 hours of news people, so we get this rubbish, which i'd hesitate to call journalism. It's sensationalist tabloid hackery.

Prettyt sure CDPR has stated before that one of their "AAA" releases will be in 2014, and thats pretty much TW3, since they've stated TW3 is far ahead of Cyberpunk.
