Hello everyone.

 I am on my second playthrough at the moment on a mage, my first was a warrior
I plan on replaying the  game with a remake of my original warrior before the expansion and
I would like to go with Reaver for him, so i figured i'd unlock this on my mages playthrough,
I am romanced with Leilana and I use Wynne, is there any 'genuine' (not reloading etc) way to keep both of them?
I can probably go without Wynne if theres no other choice but i'd prefer to keep Lei until the end, but i've heard
the only way to keep her involves intimidating her etc which doesn't sound the best way to go...
Is it not possible to just maybe leave them at camp? or will they find out?

If it's possible to leave them at camp, which would be the best team to take for that section? Morrigan, Sten and shale or something?

They just confront you in camp, so you have to face them sooner or later.



As for a party to take, bring:

Shale - and have him wear some decent fire crystals

Morrigan - it turns out that her cone of cold can lockdown the dragon.

Yourself - your favorite character

Finally, bring another dps if you're sword and shield spec'd, or one more tank if not.



Make sure that everyone has decent gear, or you're doomed!

It's okay i'm sure i can deal with the High Dragon etc, been through it once obviously



I meant ideal party as in people that care the least about the desecration ^^



So if you have to confront them, is there no decent outcomes? i have full persuasion, can i not lie to them?

You can lie to Leliana if she is not with you when you defile the urn, and she might stay with you.



You cannot keep Wynne no matter what.

You don't have to kill the High Dragon to get at the Urn.



As for team members, Sten's a great choice to take with you ('Congratulations. You found a waste-bin.'), and I doubt that Oghren, Zevran, or Morrigan will care, either. Shale may also be a good choice.

I've done it with Sten, Morrigan, and Zev and they could all care less.



I think Alistair would probably get a big disapproval hit, but he can't just up and leave .

I think when I defiled (I personally used the reload trick because I wanted to keep Wynne) the Urn Alistair gave a -10 reaction to it, or somewhere around -10. Alistair will never leave the party though, so unless you're in a romance at love level and want to keep it there, the 10 isn't a huge deal
