Was playing last night with a few friends when a 11 year old got on the party chat, who then asked how old everyone was, I thought I was the old fart at 40 but then I found out I was playing with a 57 year old grandfather, so I guess I got some years left in my gaming life.

I'm 43. If I played with an older guy, don't know about it since no one uses a mic.
No one wants to talk to you anyway....
Are you from Baltimore? I was born there (Dundalk).

The real question is was he any good? So then you can say, when you whip the little kid's arse. That's how it was done when I was a boy, kids these days, pish, don't know how to play.

I think Ryoldschool and I are the two oldest on the forum, he has a few years on me but not many.
Earth years is overrated, I have always been a kid at heart and always will be......just waiting for grandkids to do it all over again:)

I'm 30 and feel old to be on xbl sometimes but I play with a group of guys who don't forum and I know two of them are 47 and 57, it's great having people to talk to with a bit of life behind them.

The mostly mature player base (even on xbox) is one of the best aspects of this MP.

It'd be nice to play with some older people, i'm 19 and i've never played with anyone above the age of 30. Mostly intrested to see how good you are.

My daughters play as well.
I'm so old my first computer game was 2 blobs on a screen pretending to be 'Tennis'.
I was at school before calculators.
EDIT:
Old fart? guity.
'Curmudgeonly' - I don't think so -
ill-tempered and cranky doesn't really apply.
I find most mature gamers to be pretty chilled out...

I`ll run a few gold or Plat with you....can be hard to catch as I party up pretty fast as soon as i get online.
As for the other poster above, I was working in banking before computers were even available:) As for calculators, I think i was in grade 9 when they first came out.

Which is why I love this game, one of the regular posters on BSN is on my FL as is his teenage son, I play with them both.
My son was going to pick this up but his work life is over the top, he is a CFA with an audit firm and travels the world on projects, daughter is 4th year working on her dr degree so time is not something she has but then again other than LOTR on PC she never played games much.
