What a great thread. I'm 29 and before I read this I felt old playing games. Not anymore.

Grumpy old men in Mass Effect.

JlemMAN: Hey schmuck

WmathWOW: Putz! ready to fight Reapers

OK going to have to stop, that scenario is playing out in my head. too much laughing at the moment.

Glad I'm not the only "old fart" here. I'm 44 and I generally don't ask other's ages, because while most won't give it a second thought, invariably someone who was perfectly comfortable playing and joking around with you a minute ago, is now weirded out that you are 20+ years older then them.

That said, in my Battlefield 2 days I played with a 68 year old and an 81 year old. Both were hilarious! Hope I'm still fraggin' at 81.

EDIT: By the way, any of you other old farts playing on PC and want to add me, SEND ME A REQUEST!!

Is this thread about me?

No Jack, we are talking about old people, not ancient gammers, BTW do you remember our game from yesterday.....I forgot to PM you this morning and remind you it was the weekend, sorry about that bud.

48 here, 49 real soon (too damn soon!) I play with my 21 year old son. Like some other posters have mentioned it was typewriters and adding machines. Computers were for big business and/or scifi.

My dad still plays game regularly at 55. My Grandfather, who's 75, will still occasionally pick up the controller and play with me and my brother. Age totally doesn't limit how awesome you can be.

I'll personally be 40 in May, and I play regularly with a retired guy in his 50's.... which I hope will be me some day. I don't plan to stop playing any time soon......

Remember: you don't stop playing because you get old - you get old because you stop playing ;)

42.
If I live to 90 I'm not even middle aged yet!

Was playing last night with a few friends when a 11 year old got on the party chat, who then asked how old everyone was, I thought I was the old fart at 40 but then I found out I was playing with a 57 year old grandfather, so I guess I got some years left in my gaming life.
So question is who is the oldest player you have meet playing ME3
YOU KIDS GET OUT MY CHAT ROOM!!!

Please tell me y'all schooled that little ankle-biter and dominated the match while he came in dead last.

I find most mature gamers to be pretty chilled out...

I'm 40 and play mostly with a guy half my age and compared to him I'm very chilled out. On the other hand; even I have thrown the controller through the livingroom due to massive collective Geth stunlock once Image IPB

Ah, nice to feel young in a multiplayer environment.

Definitely doesn't happen often that I'm not the oldest.

Actually, outside of ME 3, I don't think that it has ever happened.

I wish I could run into older players. It beats the hell out of playing with 16 year olds who listen to music on the mic.
