Wow..I feel so young all of the sudden! 40++ here & if you guyz play Battlefield 3 on Xbox, we also have a group called "Brew." You can join the 30+ & above on BF3 as well.

I've given up on the Harmony Gold fiasco ever sorting itself out.

When my son was 6 I'd make cockpits out of carboard boxes in front of the tv, I'd pilot the mech, and my son would fire the weapons.

Not quite sure why I mentioned that, but it seemed a better idea than simply chiming in "I'm 47"...

I'm 57 and a grandfather but not the one mentioned earlier in this thread.

Fun fact:  Opa means grandfather in German.  It's what my grandkids call me.

In many ways age is just a state of mind.  In many ways I'm just a kid at heart.

Gamers never get older, we just get more experience
Even if I'm 164, I'll still be a kid, just a slightly older than average kid perhaps.

Oh Shiny.  I haven't tried my hand at Battlefield yet but my boyfriend will be pleased (if he's not too busy schooling out 21 year old neighbors at COD for the lulz).

It's really nice to see that there are quite a number of mature players here. I'm 39 and it never seems to fail to amaze the younger players how old *I* am. I don't see myself giving up anytime soon either. I have a guy on my XBL list I met in a different MP game years ago in his early 70's as well, and he's awesome. My mom used to kick my a** at Space Invaders when I was a kid and I have no doubt that if she still had decent mobility in her hands that she'd still be playing too. (That's my only concern about being *ABLE* to play as I get older, I had to get a fightstick b/c 3 rounds in a fighter these days *kills* my hands.) I have a lot of respect for gamers older than me, also they likely had the quarters to finish those arcade games that I did not as a kid.

Seriously, I thought I was one of the older gamers at 38, then I played a game with a bloke who told us he was 72! He didn't move around much but was still a very capable team mate, had an n7 in excess of 10k iirc. It's great in my opinion, I'd love to still be playing when I'm that age.

Your mom are cool like mine. My mom have 70 and she plays mario bros and bomberman everyday XD, she is a family game adict lol.
