I've admitted to my 48 years here before ... but do so again readily to let everyone else know they're not alone!

Although, I'm probably just as guilty of the occassional rage-quit as any 16 year old!   I just like a little more quiet now (meaning that if my mic is on, my AC is off and so is pretty much everything else that would make extra noise ... its just plain rude to blast any extra noise onto the other players).

Funny thing too ... oftentimes when i'm asked my age i actually have to stop and think about it.   then when the number pops back up into memory, i have to ask myself 'when the hell did this happen?'  ; )

Your brother brought me silver,
Your sister warmed my soul,
But now I laugh and pull so hard
And see you swinging on the Gallows Pole

Well, I'm 34. This thread makes me feel a bit less out of place! I've been gaming since I was 6. That's back in the ancient Atari 7800 and NES days. Now THAT makes me feel old! Ha.

S**t, I thought I was old at 33. Makes me happy that there's players much older than me out there. @Gallowspole, you replied in one of my threads so I'm not the only older guy who posts in here either lol! At least I was around to witness the birth of awesome home games machines; master system, nes, snes, mega drive, amiga, C64, Atari lynx etc, played on all of them at release, only actually owned the amiga out of that lot though!

I am 41 and I will keep playing at least until 100. Then I will decide if video games are boring for me. (No they are not!).

Keep playing! You maintain your kid inside you alive for ever!  :wizard:

I'm 44 - the only person on my friends list who I know is older is 60!

I didn't play the MP at all for the first 4 months the game was out because I was afraid I would only run into teenage boys who would yell at me for playing poorly... but immediately met some great folks and have loved playing ever since.

Now, if only the young 'uns would stop hitting on me AFTER I tell them I'm in my 40's... sheeeeesh!Image IPB

Happy to play with any folks who like a good game and good laugh, gt on xbox same as forum name.

I guess that makes you the oldest person I've played with :D

And here you thought you were the old one! I sound much younger than I am though. Surgery, wouldn't you know it.:P

I guess that age explains why you're so wise, much wiser than me even

And that surgery does miracles, makes you sound SO much younger... almost like you were 9 years old :P

9 years old, eh? Then I should report you to the police for harassing a minor.:police:

Hipster frudi liked adults b4 they were adults!

Mylinda225: I'm about to be 32 and my husband is 37 and we play regularly. We both have since we we're kids and consider our gaming careers only just begun.

Being 45, I do admit to a perverse pleasure in carrying people young enough to be my kid.

At least some of the stigma is dying out. At least among the more intelligent young people. When they realize you've been gaming since there was such a thing as video games, they're less likely to call you a pedo. (I'll never know what that has to do with gaming. I'm not here to stalk your silly arse, ready the hell up all ready.)

At 104 years old, I must be one of the oldest, uhm. What was I talking about? Oh yeah, I got distractend, like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Give me five bees for a quarter, you'd say.

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...
