Need help with Geth Trooper melee build...

Hi all,

"Geth Melee is extremely strong and activates across an area, and Fortification
increases Melee Damage when deactivated by as much as 100%. The effect
is set to last as long as 20 seconds, so with a low enough recharge
speed, you could feasibly deactivate it every 20 seconds to reestablish
the bonus, then reactivate it as soon as possible to regain the Damage
Reduction quickly, while retaining the damage bonus. With how the Geth
Melee drains shields, and the Geth's low health, this reactivation of
Fortification's Damage Reduction is very helpful."

So in the 5th evolution of advanced hardware i use extra melee damage specialy after an enemy is killed by a heavy melee it gives me additional 30% extra melee and power (flamer) damage for 20 sec, does the above quote stacks with what has been said in evolution 5 of Advanced hardware?

So one must purge = deactivate (right?) fortification to gain up to 100% extra melee damage for 20 sec correct?
Deactivation of fortification must be done every 20 sec to maintain that melee damage bonus and then activate fortification again if you need the damage reduction or simply start th proces of deactivating it again for your melee damage...?

I build my trooper with full flame and a lot of melee damage my shields have 1400 no HM and use a crusader V with omniblade ( i know heavy cool down but im not spamming flamer any way) but i wanted a character who is good at close range ie melee, mid range = flamer and long range my crusader vs bosses and going for the headshots. I dislike the acolyte since its charge.
