Enemy spawn immunity - it should be removed

Banshees and Primes are generally easy to take out, Atlases usually fine but sometimes retain about half of their armor, nbd. Praetorians, on the other hand, often take no damage or only lose about half their barriers from a direct Cobra launch to the face.

It can turn and look when it spawns/we get up, but the moment we move/use and ability/perform an action after a set amount of time, we do not become invulnerable anymore. You have the choice of bolting away as soon as possible, or getting an extra few quick seconds to access and run away.

But then the game won't be any challenge, elites like us must play with Common weapons and Vorcha Hunter.Air Quotes wrote...

LOL. Bloody easy? No. Easier? Sure. A ton more FUN? Definetely.
I mean I can't understand the reasoning of the people who say things like - Banshee magnet hands across the map was a good thing and made the game more challenging. Or that Geth stunlock is a good thing. Or that Phantom DR makes sense.
It's not challenge - it's pure BS.
And guess what - when Banshee magnets got fixed - Reapers became the most fun, balanced faction that people enjoy playing against.

But it did create suspense in the game. Death came from totally unexpected places and added a wild card to the match.
Kinda like gambling.
Nowadays Reapers feel too easy and BORING without that looming threat of bull**** weighting over the team. Course we got praetorians who actually can magnet claw a bit. So I guess it's a + - 0 situation. Oh and ass lazers, never forget.

Remove it, or give us revive immunity. It's only fair.
Or just 3 seconds of invulnerability to everything including sync kills and stagger after joining a game in progress.
Also, have the enemies ignore players in this state and not prioritize them as targets.
Agreed. I hate joining a game only to find I'm already standing in a field of grenades... or a seeker swarm has already gotten me... or a husk is already humping my face.

Magnet hands specifically created a sort of panic whenever a Banshee got 1 teleport away, though dying to it did feel pretty cheap and out of my control.
However I also agree that if they nerfed everything Air Quotes complained about, the game would be way too easy, especially Cerberus.

That's... an interesting point of view.
Personally I don't like gambling and when a death occurs in a way that there's absolutely no way I could've avoided it, that's not fun at all.

You can make then game challenging without resorting to insta-kills (without any way of stoping them), stunlock, power/weapon immunity and all that jazz. It's just a faster/cheaper way to create artificial difficulty.
You add all those elements and you have Kai Leng. Does nyone like Kai Leng?

Consistency becomes a boring grind. Consistent is an mmo where you keep farming and farming for gold for that one pink pretty dress.
To me consistency is just boring, which is why whenever I play Skyrim I play with enough mods to make sure that when I actually run into a bear I run into 3 of them and a dragon when I was expecting 1 skeever.
But hey! Whatever floats your boat Air quotes! Were arguing prefrence here anyway. I like my random threats you like an enemy that you can read. Both get fun so let's just agree to disagree slap each others arses and go drink some whiskey.

Now you're talking about revamping every faction in the game. That's way beyond the scope of what almost any developer will do in patches.
The BSN also has a habit of horribly exaggerating things as well.
Such as the fact that no enemy in the game actually has weapon immunity =P

Y'know they should add one.
A boss of sorts.
This giant looming killing machine that's immune to everything and has a time limit and the team has to survive for 5 minutes against it and it's onslaught.

Random events in a modded game is a totally another thing.
But by liking/defending things like Geth and other cheap buggy behaviour and asking for more - you're sending the devs a clear message that you are stupid and do not notice artificial challenge. So they will not spend any time designing a good/creative/fun enemy. No. They will scrap a Dragoon or a Bomber in 5 minutes and call it good.
