Y'know, this is one of those stupid BSN arguments that are completely pointless and eventually go absolutely nowhere. And this started over prefrences, PREFRENCES! That's like starting an argument over MUSIC TASTES.

So here's Saruman with a guitar.

**** this ****! I'm getting drunk!... Except I don't have any alcohol so SUGAR will have to do!

Checks calendar. New day. Checks BSN. New Air Quotes whine thread. Notes perfect correlation over the last 6 months. Throws away calendar, as it's completely redundant so long as BSN and Air Quotes continue their coexistence.

If you call "Bug threads" "Cheap mechanics that kill the player without any chance to respond treads" - whining, call them that. I don't care.

My complains are reasonable.

@ Ziegrif

So you prefer enemies that spawn anywhere they want and are immortal. Okay. Point taken. If it makes it interesting and challenging for you - cool.

How many times Sirian shot an immortal enemy?

Much like the Phantom's 90% DR, enemy immortality does not actually exist.

They do get pretty high amounts of DR when spawning, though.

So high that they don't take visible damage. Even when shot with the most powerful weapons on a most powerful weapons characters.

It woudn't be so bad if the spawns weren't so f'ed up. But there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do when something appears out of thin air right in your face and start elbowing and shooting you while being completely bullet-proof.

And there's SO MANY of these little things that favor the enemy and punish the players it's insane.

Then why do we win all the time?

Point out multiple instances of that occurring in the video from Sirian(as in give me timestamps) then.

All cases also must show the health/shield bar of the unit after a hit, or else it doesn't count as it could have simply wounded the target.

Why do I need to pump a fully extended Typhoon mag into them when I'm hosting, but only a few shots with the same setup when playing off host?

I've nuked spawns with rockets before and on rare instances, the rocket will knock a Nemesis/Rocket Trooper to the ground like it's unconscious, but it still has full health/shields.

Do we? Or do the enemies let us win?

Anyway. There are tons of small things, that could be tweaked and make this game 100X better right away. But the usual dev response is - "Don't even dream about it" " No, we're not gonna fix it" "Yes it's a bug, we're not gonna fix it" "We realize the Geth aren't the most fun, but we're not gonna fix it" "Yes, we will add more stunlock"

It's only a 10 minute video. Watch it.

Because it's actually 75% DR.

The false info comes from people believing that her DR doubles up to 90% while she's flipping on-host, but this is not the case.

1:40 beginning of wave 2.

Jay headshots and kills a Centurion immediately after spawning.

If they had immunity, that would not have happened.

4 seconds after they spawned. And they have immunity.

Fix the current issue where enemies may spawn on top of you (whether you are soloing or not) and this spawn immunity won't seem like such a big deal.

If the game is too hard with (alleged) spawn immunity, play on an easier setting. There's nothing wrong per se with making enemies invulnerable on spawn (Mann vs Machine does that) or making them spawn behind your lines.

4 seconds before the killfeed shows up was before they had even announced wave 2 beginning(plus it's 6 seconds of DR so it wouldn't actually have mattered).

Assuming they spawned immediately when Wave 2 showed up on-screen, then it was 2 seconds after spawning.

Unless you're going to start telling me that enemies now also spawn in between the waves.

I think the game would be more interesting if you could not nuke a spawn. If they did that they would also have to prevent them from spawning on top of you.

But it's part of the game, so that 3 second immunity is what we have to work with, and I'm ok with that. It certainly does not seem to to prevent spawn nuking right now.

-_-

It's not hard. It's CHEAP.

And combining both is ultra cheap.

You can hear Sirian and Jay talking about spawn immunity. And you can see Sirian shooting and hitting and not even denting the enemies.
