Man I must have restarted ME1 so many times because I didn't like the look of my FemShep. I finally found something I was content with but not overall pleased with. And as much as I hate that you couldn't tweak an imported face in ME2 (yay for that in ME3), it wasn't until I re-did her in ME2 from scratch that I felt I finally achieved the look I wanted. Then they went and ruined it in 3... sigh...

Have not used the ME2 to 1 face convertor download here on the BSN. Used the one on the ME faces/ download Shep playthroughs site (forget what its called). Can't comment on how well it did as I used it and wrote down the information but have yet to actually do it in game.

I don't. I just use the default face.

This.

The default Shep looks better than about 99.9% of all customs out there.

My first piece of advice is to sit down and really think about what you find attractive in a face. Look at example online if needed. What shape of face do you like?

For me, I seem to like heart shaped faces the most. This means high broad cheek bones and smaller chins and narrower jawbones. I like small noses and large eyes. I like narrow mouths with "realistic" sized lips.

Think about what sorts of attributes you find most appealing. I would say 90% of my characters generally have these traits that I find appealing. So spend some time figuring out exactly what traits you find appealing yourself.
