Okay, so I just recently started ME3 on the 360 and as a perfectionist gamer I already realized this game was gonna drive me nuts when within 2 hours I'm forced to pick between Dr. Chakwas and Dr. Michel as the Normandy's doctor.

So I was doing some research and stumbled upon a pretty heavy spoiler (SPOILER) that the one you do not pick  disappears from the game after a certain point (Cerberus attack on the Citadel), essentially "dying". They disappear from the game, never to be seen again. This also sucks for people that didn't talk to Chakwas or Michel in time. Or wanted Michel as their Doctor, dismissed Chakwas, but didn't have enough Paragon/Renegade to get her and by the time you get enough and come back, she's dead/missing.

Well, I can't live with that, so I started doing some Gibbed editing to find a way around that when it comes up.

So I made a few saves. One before talking to Chakwas and Michel, one after hiring Chakwas, one after hiring Chakwas and then finishing a conversation with Michel, one after dismissing Chakwas telling her to stay at R&D, and one after dismissing Chakwas and hiring Michel.

Now, I know one thing for certain from the Plot ID's that came out for ME3, that 19181 and 19182 explicitly refer to their seperate recruitments. So that one's all good.

Now, ME2's editing was a lot simpler because this simple crap changed like 14 different variables and I don't really have the time nor energy (after two days of bool and int value searching) to try out every variation to make Chakwas/Michel disappear (as she would post Cerberus attack) and reappear (as if she didn't die, so I can use this later in the game). I am assuming that the same bool applies to them disappearing after you hire as it does post-Cerberus attack.

So I was hoping for some help and research if need be.

Here's the table I came up with. Included are all values that change at one save or another: http://www.mediafire...h0xk1gqcee9r0r9

Some are affected by simply talking to Chakwas and hiring her, some are affected by hiring Michel, some are just affected by starting a conversation with Michel, etc.

I was hoping with someone with experience at gibbed editing could take a look at these and maybe make a guess on which of the values they think influence the others. The base save is standing in front of Chakwas and Michel before initiating conversation with either. If the value changes after a conversation, it's put into the table. Some (like bool 21801) go back and forth for some inexplicable reason.

Here are the saves if anyone wants to take a look at them:

This is the base save: http://www.mediafire...w3we51dz6801v14

This is the save after dismissing Chakwas: http://www.mediafire...dq7skvlej72vijg

This is the save after dismissing Chakwas and hiring Michel: http://www.mediafire...9i83ln5x4lfoc2t

This is the save after hiring Chakwas: http://www.mediafire...16a59m26u50o5md

This is the save after hiring Chakwas and having a conversation with Michel: http://www.mediafire...3cx4ds8tpbs445x

Anyone with advice on the ins and outs of using gibbed for ME3 would be greatly appreciated.

Michel disappears long before the Cerberus attack if left there. I think it is about the time the VS leaves the hospital.

Hey, thanks for replying! Do you happen to have a save from around then that you could upload to mediafire that I could take a look at? I want to see if one of these variables is altered in a different way. Thank you!

It has more to do with the doctors disappearing from the game before recruiting for me. And I dislike characters unnecessarily disappearing.
