Banners, easier weekend challenges, and also to prove to myself that I can at least solo gold on easy mode. Although the last one is actually more connected to banners...

FOR RANNOCH
But really, for some people it's for the prestige, and for me it's for the personal accomplishment.

When switching from bronze to silver and silver to gold, i soloed to get a hang of the new difficulty and not be a drag. After that, soloed for various self made reasons. The most memorable one was a turian sentinel solo to get the most gold medals (8 personal, 6 team) including 10 waves and killstreak 3

I don't understand the question. A small child's worth?

This.
Its a challenge of just me vs the game.
The other points are valid too: soloing bronze/silver can trivialise the weekend operations, and soloing gold is good experience for when you have to carry pugs.

I'm soloing for the challenges (as in the actual Bioware ones). Once I'm done with that? Probably never again. It's slightly fun, but eh.

Because it turns out my meticulous mind works better in a solo, where I have a higher degree of
control over enemy kiting
And I just find it fun =)

Because I don't feel like playing with other people, but I am bored of the SP campaign.

Because BW challenges us to do it and because of gold PuG.

solo silver, you can hold your own on gold, solo gold you can do the same on platinum.

Doing challenges and operations, testing stuff, taking pictures and footage.

Mostly completing the challenge on the way to Botb.. Also just gives you a certain level of confidence about your ability to fight.
Personally though, I don't think I'll be soloing again for awhile now that I'm done with the challenge.

To keep my skills sharp duh? No I enjoy a few nice silent games to myself. I also do it because when I complete a gold match solo I feel like a god! Haha

For the weekend challenges, yet I haven't done enough solos for the banner.
