 I downloaded the Mass Effect 3 iOS app aka datapad

where can i get a tutorial and help for this? I can't find any help for this. It's just guessing what it might can do or doesn't do.

When I deploy on the map (currently I got Hourglass Nebula, Garvug and Omega)
once a next fleet is available I can go ahead over the entire galaxy map so to speak

question is 

is this for multiplayer or does that affect my single player mission Galactic Readiness in the game?
and secondly do I get upgrades in single player mode?

It affects the galactic readiness in single player game. You do not get upgrades in the SP game, only affects readiness.
