Yeah we're not very patient people and would prefer if our pizza didnt get cold , But we are aiming to get under 12 mins (should be possible depending on the objectives) and we do push ourselves alot to get under this time, so any little advantage to get under that time we will use.

I kind of want to see that actually. I've always thought the Valiant was useless, even on Gold.

Well, it's kinda iffy. Definitely wouldn't recommend on Gold, Black Widow can one-shot a lot more there, and the Javelin can get one-shot body shots. The stats say that it has good sustained DPS, more than the Black Widow, so that combined with good tech burstability would make it good against Platinum bosses. Not sure how long it takes to go from Cloak -> Shot -> Proxy -> Shot -> Shot for the Black Widow, but the Valiant should be able to get all three shots and a proxy mine within the cloak window.

Theroetically it should be two shot headshotting things on Platinum using a GI with max amps (I used tyhw's calculator). Disruptor Black Widow can one shot Nemeses, Dragoons and Rocket Troopers but nothing else. So it's kind of a tradeoff - one is better against those three and on-host phantoms and the other is better against Hunters, Pyros, Marauders, Captains/Possessed and off-host phantoms. Javelin gets Geth Weapon Damage bonus, so really you should just be using that, but i'm running very low on phasic rounds so I decided to pick a sniper that would work well with Disruptor and tech bursts. And there wasn't a whole lot of difference between me using the Javelin or Valiant, so I guess it worked out in the end.

Next time I'm going to try the Black Widow though, just out of interest.

Have you guys been doing rocket runs as well on Jade? Cricketer mentioned having a good time there and was wondering if we wanted to try as well but didn't specify.

We got 10:40, new record, but after that just thought f*** it, let xbox do it. We didn't really feel motivated to pull it off. No rocket Jade was a lot more fun. Don't remember objectives, don't really care. There's a lot of room for improvement there.



We also have 12:50 no rockets, but I just looked at it now and the video is corrupted, so no dice. But it sucked anyway. It was only partial extraction and we also had a 2 minute cursed pizza and people getting executed. Pizza Pizza short escort.

When RNC gets back from vacation we are going to try Goddess again, but after that we will likely give Jade another try. We have a strategy with rotating positions throughout each wave where everyone rockets that is pretty fun but far from the most efficient way of doing it. Like you we just weren't motivated enough to try anything better.

we will get back to goddess only IF you can retake the record back , otherwise we pretty much master the strategy we came  up with and only need good objectives for a decent time.

our aim right now is sub 12 No rocket for Jade, then to give condor or white a go.
