No, I'm not talking about Mars. Cerberus tried to kill her in one of the comics, and again when they assaulted the SB ship.

Oh THAT comic.

Its beyond the scope of what we are talking about, but whatever.

What about it?  Apples and oranges really.

The point is that it doesn't matter if Cerberus does or does not have qualms with getting rid of Liara, because they just can't seem to get it done.

1.  Right.  because Cerberus would have so many qualms about offing her to get Shepard's body....

I don't Liara would care about threats to her person. She just put herself in mortal danger several times.

2.  I can say that this is affirmatively false.  I have played through the game enough times to have noticed that.  And I do not recall a different between my paragon and reneagde playthroughs.  She comes up before Palaven, and after Tuchunka.

If you say so.

Still not sure how two visits to Shepard's cabin totalling maybe a little over two minutes of screen time means she's a rabid stalker.

Did I mention having to dump her three times?  And consistently feeling like the game was throwing her at me?

tbh Kai Leng should have killed her on Thessia.

Itd make Thessia more impactful and give Shepard's moping some better context.

It just doesn't make any sense. He goes right for the kill except when plot. He sure didn't have any qualms killing Thane or Miranda. But Liara only gets thrown.

Dude, clear button pushing attempt utterly failed.

I am not nearly as sensitve as others about it.

I only romance Miranda because I dislike most of the other MaleShep options.  And Jack would not mesh with my canon.

I'm not trying to push your buttons, because forcing Miranda to die there would annoy me. The point is that this comes off more as wanting to kill off a character you dislike, which kind of veers off of the original topic.

You mean the bug, a mistake in the game's programming, that you let inform your opinion of a character? Yes.

Did I mention I think it's ridiculous?

And consistently feeling like the game was throwing her at me?

Not in this thread. I'm familiar with your opinion from past ones though, and I still believe it's just people projecting their control of Shepard and some events on to every character.

Killing her on Thessia would be important narratively, like I said.

I'd rather not have Miranda in ME3 at all so I wouldn't have to deal with more lame sister/daddy issues.

Can't, I have a life to live that day.

Forunately, Liara gets over her problem after a ten second conversation and doesn't let it affect her work.

Honestly I kind of wish Oriana died

I wish Miranda's arc at the tale end of the second game and the whole of the third game was different.

Her switching sides from Cerberus didn't really have the impact I thought it should, and I don't think Oriana should have been part of the third game at all, except maybe some short conversation on how she's well protected. The retread of her sister and daddy issues wasn't in any way meaningful.

True that. At least Liara's character grew, if ever so slightly.

I wish Miranda's arc at the tale end of the second game and the whole of the third game was completely different, and didn't involve Oriana going randomly missing at all.

An off screen death for Oriana could help accomplish that.

She SHOULD be working against Cerberus, and rethinking her life because of Cerberus's recent actions...
