Whats the best way to build a Fury for this kind of potential? Haven't messed with the class much.
Is there any character that can compete or outscore a perfectly used Fury?

Edit: dammit, got :ph34r:d
Ok serious answer. Probably something along the line of 6/6/6/4/4 or 6/6/6/5/3. But it all depends on your playstile, really. There are only a few fixed things you need to take, like the drain evo on AF rank 6.

Is the playstyle "get into range, detonate with throw"? What is the Warp for?

Use this and you will be babysitting ammoboxes for at least 10 minutes.

Fury doesn't have throw. I think you're refering to dark channel. If that's the case, well. There are some occasions (quite few, but still...) in which getting too close to the enemy is not adviceable. So DC -> throw lets you detonate BEs from afar.

So yes, get in range, throw to detonate? DC+throw for long range?

EDI + reegar + incendiary can down an atlas in one clip, how fast can a Fury kill? not to mention she runs super fast with that repair grenade on.
Fury can stay fast all the time, do BE's from range and clean mooks fast up-close. If she has a Hurricane with Warp ammo, she can destroy bosses quite fast too.

Yeah, while EDI would be superior against bosses, the fury would rule the day against mooks and subbosses. And that's where the most points are.
That said though, EDI could surely give a fury a good run for her money. So could a GI, and a few other characters.

When I play her with reegar, I don't really take mooks time into consideration ;p
but well, I guess I never realized Fury can be that good. Just like the other day I played with a really good group in a pug, Hazard dagger iirc, that Fury impressed me on early waves, but coudn't catch on with my Jav GI later (even tho they kill so fast I mostly just clean up bosses). I guess it has to do with map size as well.

Not easy to teleport around Dagger. GI with Jav can reach and touch the enemy anywhere without even moving.
BTW [ X ] for Reegar AIU
