Black Widow is far superior.

Widow, real snipers use single shots and with reload cancel it's almost as fast as the firing rate on the Black Widow. They are both great though.

Black Widow.

No matter how much punch the Widow has, it's not a crowd control weapon. Black Widow can swiftly route groups from a distance, and it's awesome how TC is already recharged by the time you finish firing off three shots and begin reloading.

I like one-shot heavy hitter.
And black widow feels light and empty when you shoot.

Widow... but I just started playing with snipers this past weekend. I'm trying them out now and I'm starting with the Widow X (Then I'll swap to the Black Widow III, once I get the weapon points).

Widow....If i want three shots, I go with the valiant, because of the BW's recoil issues.....and my habitual reload cancels that occur between BW shots. I rage and say "why isn't this guy dead"!? Then I realize I have three in the chamber ><.

OT: Black Widow

Since the Black Widow one shots mooks anyway AND kills bosses faster, the Widow is obsolete. Black Widow looks and feels much better anyway. Especially since you can fit all three shots in one cloak cycle.

Probably the Black Widow, assuming I had them both at X.

An exception would be on the Salarian Infiltrator, for me the Widow just goes too well with ED to pass up.

BW. I enjoy playing with Widow though. I love one-shot weapons. Wish I had a high lvl Javelin. I don't like being disturbed with low ammo too often when I use sniper rifles.

BW is already far superior to the Widow and to also stipulate that no phasic rounds are allowed makes it an even bigger no brainer.
