I am playing the trilogy one last time, all dlc downloaded, hardcore difficulty for the first two and insanity for 3. Just finished ME2 with Arrival (you're supposed to play that as an epilogue), gonna wait to start 3 until this dlc is released. Been a hell of a ride.
anyone still play from the 1st game to the 3rd?

i played through the trilogy not so long ago still as good as the first time i did it.the only thing for me is that when you play them all back to back you see that ME3 really isn't anywhere near the previous 2 and just how out of place the ending is.all 3 are still worth the time though

I'm doing it now. I get more nostalgia from playing ME1 than I do for the others but the ending is probably gonna make me tired of doing that.

When ME1 came out for playstation I embarked on the epic saga straight through one last time. It was amazing. I only have ME2 for PS3. I've beaten the series start to finish 3 times on 360.
ME1 and ME2 are masterpieces- especially ME2.
ME3 is a great game but failed to live up to the standard it's predecessors set. From playing the series from the start it's very obvious ME1 was amazing, albeit with the clunky controls, annoying mako and un-even combat it's still amazing. One of the greatest games of this generation.
ME2 is an utter masterpiece. it's my favorite game, so I'm biased, but I think ME2 is the best game of this generation and maybe greatest game of all time. Every single aspect of the game is either great, amazing or spectacular. If there was a video game hall of fame, ME2 is the Jordan or Ruth of video games.
ME3 is an enigma. It's technicalities, ( Sound design, graphics, score, voice acting) are all top of the industry and in many cases top of the series. It's combat is the best of the series- it's truly a blast to play. But it has a Rushed feel to it (not talking about the endings). Zero side quests, 1 hub world, streamlined RPG elements, lessened dialogue. As I said before, it's a great game. However, it's not on the same level of ME1 or ME2. It's just not. And then there's the endings. Ouch.

Once I've got some time I plan to, there are a few gaming things I have to do 1st including:
Beating Dishonored, Bioshock 1, 2, Infinite, Finish Skyrim DLC, start Boderlands 2 DLC, and maybe Fallout New Vegas.

When the current FemShep is done with ME3 I will probably start my first renegon FemShep in ME and this time Ash will be the VS. Haven't done a single PT with a renegade or Ash so I'm really looking forward to it.

I've just played through ME1 and started on ME2. Don't know how far I'll get as I'm already missing all the good stuff from ME1. If I play into ME3 I almost certainly won't get beyond Thessia, the slide down from that point onwards is just too depressing.

Depends on how long its been since my last playthrough. When we hit the summer doldrums again on new releases I will probably do another full playthrough.

I don't see the point. I only played ME1 on PSN to see how the story started and realized how much this franchise got so much potential wasted. ME1 and ME2 will forever be games I'll cherish. Meanwhile, the third game... Let's just say I put the box containing the blu-ray right under a huge pile of PS3 games and I'm not planning to touch it before a long while.

Started a new one the other day to bring through them all, so yeah.

I find it impossible to play without starting over from ME1. It just feels weird starting a new ME3 game, even where I am using a ME2 save file. I'm sure a therapist would have something to say about that, but if you eliminate a lot of the side quests from ME1 and ME2 and focus on the main plotline and personal side quests (i.e., Wrex's family armor) it tells a really engrossing story that doesn't take that long to get through.

I'm doing it for the first time since ME1 came to the PS3. Just imported into ME2 and really enjoyed the difference it made when Shepard meets Tali on Freedom's Progress (having helped Tali with her pilgrimage in ME1). Can't wait to see all the cool stuff I've been missing out on.
I've completed ME2 and ME3 numerous times, but I love the universe and characters so much that it's a pleasure to relive it all again.

No, the trilogy is too long just to reach the same unsatisfying conclusion. I am fine with replaying ME3 though. Waiting on the final DLC and then I'll probably uninstall the games from there. It was a good run for the most part.
Edit: Removed a line. Forgot I was in no-spoilers forum.

I will play the trilogy one more time sometime this year. After that, I'll uninstall all three games from my computer. Time to move on!

Definitely. I think this is my 5th time through? First time with Femshep though.
Just getting ready to get the IFF in ME2 (all side quests done) but I'll hold off on ME3 until the new DLC is out.

I started a new Shep in ME1 around September but stopped at ME3 cuz I'm waiting for final dlc and then who knows how many times I'll go through the whole series again, at least 1 more time I think.

I'm playing it now, yes. Generally I would do this anyways, but the motivation this time is doing a full playthrough in remembrance of the ME trilogy, and going to finish once the ME3 dlc comes out.
