I've seen a lot of threads complaining about the EDIs body,or Ashley "Mirandification".Sincerly i don't understand why you should hate them, having a sexy character is always a good think, because characters became more attractive. What do you think?

Sometimes, a player can see what the designer was going for and compensate for the difference. Other times, the player can see what they were going for and are completely repelled by it. A good example is the kid on Earth. Clearly, it was meant to be a sad moment when he dies. A lot of people didn't feel sad in that scene. In the case of sexy characters, some people are really off-put by the fact that everyone around them is a lingerie model.

Because deliberately sexing up characters for no logical reason other than ****** appeal is incredibly patronising towards the players.

For Ash is because she was established as a no nonsense marine....who then during the promos of ME3 was presented in a rather out of character sexyfied way...

Miranda was, as well as other ME characters, entirely ridiculous in combat with her 6 inch combat heels and NO armor whatsoever (until the appearance pack which made yet bearable to me)

I can't speak for others, but since I am not 16 anymore, I am always aware how sex appeal is exploited in mass media. Thus, when a character suddenly gets crudely modified to be "hot" while not providing anything of value, I consider it an attempt to influence me and feel insulted.

****** and ass ... does not sexy make...

Is that a yoda quote?

Personally I just dislike when it's made so over the top and so ridiculous that it breaks immersion and becomes... imho unrealistic and plain silly.

IE: While I have no accurate numbers on how many gunfights cleavage have prevented I do know it does not stop bullets like kevlar.

Ashley. Had hair tied up in a bun, logically given her profession, don't want enemies getting to much of a handhold and then BAM, free flowing shoulder length hair because BioWare shifted its target market to appeal to kids with the attention span of a gold fish.

Give the robot lady a cameltoe and you're set. See how most rational people would feel insulted?

When the attractiveness serves no purpose beyond fanservice, it's not justified. Example: chainmail bikinis in fantasy games.

EDI's Mechamilk jugs is a good example in Mass Effect. I personally love the design from a fanservice standpoint, but it made no sense and making the token synthetic woman a literal sex object was a bit too much. Even if she's an "infiltration unit".

Because everybody's personality changed for the worse (save for Jack) and everybody got their rounds of silicone and botox. See, if I have to choose a love interest I will always pick a stubborn marine over an emotional glorified bimbo.

So by you logic a nonsense female marine would never want to look attractive?

I feel sorry for female marines.

There is not enough of it.
By right there should be more outfits, Miranda should be going around in lingerie.

If it prohibited performing her duties and put her in additional danger, she would never make that step.

That might be a welcomed change for her, since she has been walking about with a giant wedgy (front and back) for the last too games.

no but wearing no armor is entirely OOC for her (she used to  not wear armor in the promos) especially since she laughed at the Asari Commandos for wearing leathers saying she would rather wear heavy armor. The shift was unnecessary and quite insulting if you ask me, Liara, for instance, was handled much better in that department

Because given their characters and a little context, EDI's body and Ashley's random makeover look ridiculous to me.

But she is not performing anything when we see her in skin tight clothes shes on her free time , when you take her on a mission she wears armour just like everyone else when in battle.

Nothing wrong with looking sexy, but sexy doesn't have to always mean the same thing
